I doubt it is true. I'm still unsure how PBC are going to run two PPVs in a two week period. This fight may happen, but I'm thinking better chance it happens in Janaury than December 19. It is not true to me until I read it on boxing scene top headlines. They are fast and accurate. They post important stuff like that very quickly but only if it is true. they don't post rumors and BS. I just read it now and there is nothing about a Plant vs Canelo fight. Maybe soon but as of now nothing. You just can’t accept that Canelo is doing everything that GGG promised you he would do. Grow up and give Canelo his dues already

Yeah, but it'll be different financials for each. Canelo is likely to do business with SHO next, but Spence/Garcia being two weeks before is going to impact that PPV and vice versa. Haymon is still going to be on hook for both. Again, it's possible it happens on December 19 but I'm not too sure it will. If it is on that date, then there will be what, six weeks to promote the PPV? Think boxrec is jumping the gun here, and they do this from time to time.

it could have been agreed on both sides already since they been in talks for a while, but cant sign a contract until the court clears everything which is a matter of days since all parts involved have reached an agreement...

I can't imagine anything is finalized until there is a venue as well. That's the first thing I notice missing. Since it's Canelo, surely they will want to host it somewhere they can have a live audience too.
