Why Povetkin's Knockout was better than Davis' knockout

- Povetkin was an underdog, wasn't expected to win... is 40 years old past his prime. facing a bigger dude and a top HW contender -Davis is younger in his prime, he was EXPECTED to win, facing a smaller guy in a lower weight class... i mean its pretty self explanatory If you like the Povetkin KO more ok. Usually the more impressive win is over the better and more accomplished opponent. Leo is far more accomplished than Whyte.

We have to appreciate the kind of chins the Klitschko's had. Lewis upper cut to vitali and AJ's uppercut to wlad and non went down. These are uppercuts that can knock you out cold.

Whyte's a top HW contender ? LOL Isn't he? Hez been top 5 for over 3 years running.

You can’t go Wrong with Zepeda, Povetkin or Davis. All 3 excellent kos.

Povetkin`s KO is far better. He was un underdog and he fought top 5 guy in division. Davis fought 126 guy at 130. Not impressed by that KO.

Povetkin is a 103kg dude. You’re expected to be able to KO someone with a good shot But as a boxer with decent power u expected to KO a guy if u land a flush uppercut on the inside

For shear violence I lean towards tanks, I was a worried Leo was dead for a bit there. Both great upper cuts though.

I got Martinez over Williams as my KO of the century. That was like the Rahman ko, the crowd was cheering and you can clearly hear that thang thud of human skull. And the look on William's face just makes it surreal When I watched that with my homie he was screaming out that he thought William's was dead

You have to be blind or biased to think this.. Tanks ko is probly ko of the year I kind thought that povetkin would shock whyte, hes a tough sob. Great story to that fight tho cause povetkin wasnt looking so great until the ko

You sure love Povetkin. Despite that I mostly agree with you, people are entitled to their opinion, and it's not really worth fervently arguing over which is better. They were all spectacular KO's, Zepeda included. Isn't it nice there are at least 3 possible contenders and all that their opponents are all okay after getting so brutally stopped?

I think Knockouts of the year aren't based on anything but how VIOLENT they were and Tank KO over LSC was more VIOLENT than Povetkin's over Whyte.

I would give KO of the year to Pov though. Come from behind KO with a picture perfect slip and left uppercut over a guy that was dominating him.... doesnt get much better than that

Davis was more impressive. When someone not much bigger than my 2.5 year old nephew can produce that much power it’s very impressive he was fighting someone he was expected to win and knockout povetkin was expected to lose
