Lopez said it in the post fight interview very well, there is only extremely few real fighters out there who dare to be great and so many others only talk and fight nobody.
Loma had the balls to face the best again and again and again. Going for undisputed in his third division where he had to face much bigger opponents, and all of that in his 16th pro fight.
Lopez in just as many fights, at the age of 23 risked it all and became undisputed champion, where he was a big underdog.
PBC fighters like Spence, Tank Davis or Caleb Plant do not even dare to fight the best in their first division. Tank Davis picks and chooses the weakest links and keeps fighting undersized or shot fighters, Spence will never face Crawford, the only meaningful fight at 147. Caleb Plant could have unified with Benavidez but they rather both keep their 0 and protect that belt.
Jermall Charlo is running from Andrade and even turned down Canelo so he can keep his belt and make good money vs inhouse opponents.
Wilder turned down a huge offer to face AJ just to face Tyson Fury because they thought he was done after the 2 years layoff, cocaine and losing 100lb, and of course he got smashed.
I dont get it how some of this forums bottomfeeders can trash the extremely rare risktakers like Loma who puts everything on the line again and again and eventually took a loss, but the same scum cheers for the protected cowards who never dare to be great. Shame on you, you are not boxing fans. You are trash and you are dragging the sport of boxing down.
Hey PBC ****riders, tell me when does Al Haymon allow his fighters to take on real challenges instead of taking it inhouse?
We need more Lomachenkos, Usyks and Lopez's in the sport, Tank Davis is fighting an undersized inhouse opponent same as Spence when he beat overmatched Mikey. Spence vs Mikey. Tank vs Teofimo, why does Al Haymon have no confidence in his fighters? Are they as terrible as Deontay Wilder who got totally smashed?
your tears are tasty

More credit to Lopez, this is his time and we should focus our energy on him and what he has just done. Doesn’t matter how anyone tries to downgrade his victory but he at 23 beat a top 3 P4P fighter, others like you rightly say wouldn’t take that smoke.
Another one of Loma’s Nazi fans venting because he lost.
Haymon and Floyd has nothing to do with Teo beating Loma last night.
We should be talking about that but I guess it’s hard for people like jubei, monzon99, and lomaduex because they were never fans of Loma because he was a great boxer.
Lol yeah... Pretty dumb to talk abt Floyd with the fight we saw last night. The guy been retired, made money and his considered one of the great... something Loma cant brag about.
It was a pretty poor performance by the suppose P4P king (which I have Canelo at).
And btw, lets not forget Loma avoiding Manny.... He clearly did when Manny claimed he would drain himself for the fight.
Anyways good for Lopez, he made me a fan. He reminds me of DSG a little. People hate on him because of his dad but hes a pretty respectful guy
Crawford is not the p4p best fighter or the best welterweight. I got sick of ESPN claiming Crawford was p4p the best in the world using his unification at 140 as
the reason he is p4p. I have to say that is plain bs. Crawford is an excellent fighter, but his unification was a long time ago and it was not necessarily against great opponents either. At 147 he has not exactly shocked the world. He has fought only decent competition and in a few of those fights he did not look so good.
Spence on the other hand also has not done enough to be p4p or the best welterweight. He beat a blown-up Garcia who has no business at 147 and he did not look good against Porter. Porter almost beat him. No matter the reason he also fights to infrequently. By now he should of already gone through PBC's best welterweights and moved up to 154. If he never intends to fight Crawford what's the point of him continuing to hang around 147. Tito Trinidad had already fought and beat Whitaker and De La Hoya then moved up to 154 and beat David Reid and then Vargas. He then moved to 160 and won a world title then fought Hopkins all before he was 30 yrs old.
There are only 2 obvious p4p fighters Canelo and Estrada. Both continue to challenge themselves and fight the best out there and beat them.
Canelo tested positive for PEDs he shouldn't be on ANYONES P4P list.
Estrada... man gtfo. Y'all mu****as stay believing hype.
Yep, this is how boxing should be.
Charlo should be embarrassed accepting that WBC title. His WBC belt is no different than a participation trophy. He did not win it in the ring and it is a 2nd tier belt because Canelo was elevated above Charlo's "title".
It does not even bother Charlo that he has a 2nd tier title and he never won it in the ring. He does not even show any real interest in fighting Canelo. He is just happy pretending to have a relevant belt fighting d and c fighters and occasionally he will step up and fight a b level fighter.
Spence done fought more top fighters at 147 than Crawford has. Y'all crowning this dude Crawford a top welterweight without ever fighting a top welterweight is just as pitiful and idiotic as people saying Lomachenko was the best fighter post Floyd Mayweather, even though he lost to Orlando Salido(LOL) and had fought a bunch of washed up fighters who were clearly undersized. Y'all obsession with these media hypejobs makes their eventual downfall all the sweeter. Don't worry Crawford is definitely next to get brought back down to earth as well, I can't wait to see the mental gymnastics y'all gonna do on here once he finally fights a top welterweight and looks ordinary as ****ing hell.

The only one that deserves props is Lopez. He won the fight and beat the guy you wanted to pretend was unbeatable. Don't try to use this moment for Lomachenko. He lost. That goes for you Canelo fan boy's too. Canelo hasn't stepped up and fought any young unbeaten fighters so you can leave his name out of this too
Take your agendas somewhere else. You're not fooling anybody with this transparent BS.

they made the fight easily because it was in house...if loma or teo were with someone other than TR it wouldnt have been made....and the pbc guys easily make fights with each other....youre a tried and true idiot...arum isnt making this fight if he doesnt have both of these guys
only a true FGT would come here on a sunday morning after that fight and try to make it about something like this
ehhhhh everyone has their own timing for things.
Look at it like this at one time Loma didnt want the Mikey fight cause he wasnt ready for that fight, but fast forward to when Mikey moved up and moved now Lomachenko felt confident at the weight and said he was ready for Mikey Garcia.... but Mikey Garcia no longer was interested in going down to 135.... so... its all relative cause Mikey Garcia fans said Lomachenko ducked Mikey Garcia first than Lomachenko fans said Mikey Garcia ducked Loma.
Everyone has their own timing for things and sometimes it just doesnt pan out.
