So who else can recall how a "certain group" made a case that Saul Alvarez was too young, too green to fight a 35 year old Floyd Mayweather? Floyd so thoroughly defeated Saul that excuses still continue to this day.
Lopez is likewise 23 years old and about to fight the current P4P champion Loma, who like Floyd is in his 30's. So where is all the crying, complaining, and excuse making...those arguing that this is unfair, that Lopez is too young, too green? All I see posted on this forum are "best fight of the year" statements... So do the excuses come before or after Loma schools him?
Objectively with Loma and Mayweather it is not the age gap it is the skill gap that you should be focused on yet that gets swept under the rug when the results are in.
How cute still trying to justify what an hypocritic ***** Mayweather is
He beat a weight drained zombie and bragged afterwards,
Canelo couldn't even make 154 anymore at that point
(he started fighting at 155 right afterwards)
much less a bs catchweight of 152
and all after Floydette claimed that Pac's victory over Cotto didn't count because it was at a catchweight .."but- but Cotto wasn't at his best, he wasn't hydrated!"
you're an hypocritic **** just like your ***** ass idol
Canelo was 153,5 vs Trout and made 154 even in 2016 you piece of ****.And he wasnt zombie vs Floyd like Oscar vs Manny.
Floyd fought at 152 and 154 and weighs 150.Loma fights (where he is small blah blah blah) at 135 and weighs 140-141.So shut your mouth you piece of crap

well at least Loma isn't a coward ass diva, and didn't force Lopez to be weight drained like a zombie on fight night
I bet Lopez will be strong on fight night and won't be passing out at the press conference, requiring a chair to sit down because of how weakened he is, unlike a certain ginger

Maybe just maybe, neither were of consequence and Floyd is/was just a better fighter.
Maybe but we’ll never know that. We will also never know if Kovalev beats Canelo without a rehydration clause and a few more weeks to recover.
What I do know is that I hate a-side bs
I never thought age was a factor as much as weight. I can’t speak for anyone else

Lopez is too green. That is why Lomachenko will school him, but it still will be one of Lomos best wins, same with Floyd against a too green weight drained Canelo, but still its one of his best wins.
Exactly. I dont understand these people who cant understand this.
Trinidad was champion at age 20 and by age 23 had made many defenses and had many good wins. Mayweather was champion at either 20 or 21 and by 23 was lightweight champion. Canelo turned pro at 15 and had lots of pro experience fighting old 37 year old Mayweather. Age 18 or 20 might be too young but age 23 with 8 years pro experience is not too young. a boxer of 23 years old is as fast and strong and hits as hard as he ever will. Lopez has had abut 170 amateur fights and as many pro fights as Loma. If he loses he lost to a better fighter, period.

Double standards are at play. Simple as that.
Canelo was not green but he certainly was not prime. To beat Mayweather in his prime years it was going to take someone with damn near a decades worth of championship experience, which is what Canelo basically has now. It is more a testament to how great Mayweather was than anything else.
I do not feel that Lomachenko is where Mayweather was at in terms of overall skill, so I feel Teofimo has a good shot to pull it off even though he is at least four years from reaching his prime. But he does not have four years the same way Canelo did not have four years to wait because of size difference (eventual weight gain) and age difference.
Canelo wasn’t green and neither is Lopez. No world champion is a green fighter. Anyone calling them green DKSAB or has never stepped in a boxing gym in their life.
It seems to me Canelos loss to Mayweather was a win in it's own right cause were still talking about it. The same can go for Lopez later down the road IF he loses tonight. I personally am picking Lopez for the knockout.

I'm specifically addressing the excuse makers, do you see any objections currently? After the fight they will restructure the story to not give Loma credit. I'm just calling then before the story of tonight.
