Meaning if a fighter has a low KO ratio, are you less inclined to watch them?
Personally, I feel if they're aggressive fighters who give their all (e.g. Wayne McCullough) it makes up for it to an extent, but for the most part, I avoid watching them, as they tend to be snoozefests.
Floyd Mayweather for example. the last 10 fights of his career you knew it was going to be a snooze fest.
I like watching greatness, but I'm not going to say he entertained me.
Absolutely.
if a prospect has low KO ratio against the bums they've been fed in their first 15 fights, i'm not that interested unless given a reason to be.
Kind of depends on their style. Watching a swarmer like Juan Diaz who applied all that pressure winging big power shots, but couldn’t seem to crack an egg, became a bit redundant for me.
Not really, Josh Warrington is a good example of a fight fighter with a low KO ratio yet has an exciting style.
I cannot think of a better to the exception to the rule. Always like punchers or chinny fighters as make great fights
I don't mind either way . I like watching technical boxers . And even these guys with minimal kos pull the odd tko out of their hat . But I don't mind if a ko doesn't happen . I don't think any true fan does although it definately is nice seeing a savage ko or stoppage . Let's be real thats one of the main intrigues of watching a fight . Most guys with low ko percentages have pretty good skills if they are on the higher level they need to, or have a very high work rate which can make things exciting .
I DO like seeing exciting KO wins but a KO rate has no bearing on whether or not I'm interested in a fight. I'm just as happy to see a fight go to decision. The judges can't always be trusted so a KO is more decisive but as long as the judges aren't dirty then a decision is fine by me
If he is high level and doesnt fight overmatched opponents, then no.
But if two domestic opponents are matched and both have less than a 15% KOpercentage then yes.
