Of course they’re going to talk, Wilder with his New Age spiritual stuff and Fury with his, well, clowny ridiculousness.
So, how do you see the fight REALLY playing out?
(NOTE: I’m looking to discuss this fight with the thinking boxing fans here and won’t give any of my time to the racists, fanboys/gals and conspiracy theorists on EITHER side.)
He did win most of the rounds but he was operating at a 4 point deficit. All 3 judges gave Wilder the first round. And there were about 4 rounds that could’ve went either way. So I have no issue with the draw.
Neither do I. I thought a draw was fair. If Fury goes after Wilder like he says he better be damned careful because he's going to get caught. I think it's BS. Boxing is his best bet to win.
People saying a draw was fair in the first fight! LMFAO. Wilder won at most one other round aside from the knockdowns, so that's 3 rounds to Wilder, 9 rounds to Fury, -2 points to Fury for knockdowns. score is 115-111 Fury. For it to be a draw it had to be as close as 7-5 in round to Fury. I had it 9 rounds Fury, 2 rounds Wilder, with round 2 being a either way round.
I see the rematch being similar with two possible exceptions that could change everything. One, the obvious one is if Fury get's cut early he will go for broke, and who knows, I believe he could KO Wilder. The second one I think when Fury buzzes/stuns Wilder, like he did 5-6 times in the first fight, despite what some of you want to believe, I think he will be more aggressive temporarily, whether that works out or not is another thing as Wilder is very dangerous when he gets hit as he often starts firing back to discourage his opponents. I go 75-25 Fury. But the first fight was a clear win and an absolute robbery. If you think otherwise stick to watching NFL

The same way the first one did.
Fury will box wilder’s ears off and wilder will be looking for that one punch KO.
I think having tasted wilder’s power definitely caused a certain decrease of confidence to fury — whether he tells it or not.. i don’t think he’d be making faces and would toy with wilder like the first time around.. he will respect wilder more. So either he’d be gunshy/he won’t have that aura of invincibility like the first time.
Or he would be more focused and serious the entire 36 minutes.
I like fury, but i think he didn’t want to rush with the rematch while wilder did.
I still want him to win, but i think my former opinion holds more truth.
For wilder, it’ll be the same.. doesn’t matter how frustrated he’d get he’d look for the KO til the final bell. I think there would be fewer punches thrown though like his fight with ortiz.. he was just looking for the one punch. Waiting for it rather than setting it up. Or mixing it up.
If we review the wilder-fury I, i think he really threw a lot of punches to KO fury compare to when he fought ortiz II.
Fury Ko's Wilder.
I'm betting on this result, although the "Wilder equalizer" issue will never be out of the question.
I'm inclined to believe that Fury is for Wilder what Holyfield was for Tyson. A style that is all wrong for the Bronze Bomber.
Then again, Fury's mind is unpredictable. That makes it even more difficult for Wilder, who looked seriously confounded in the first fight.
My pick is Fury via TKO.
Just gonna have some fun here.
After the 1st round which was a feeling out round won by Fury...Wilder will go for the KO (round 2), knowing he can hurt Fury bad, and he will get it eventually. Fury will go down in round 2, but he will get up fairly fast due to being in better shape this time around, but still on shaky legs. After KD #1, he will get up on shaky legs, survival mode. Wilder will be windmilling wildly, getting outboxed by a surviving but hurt Fury. Fury will be intelligent enough to survive until the end of the bell, but things won’t be looking good for him for the next round. Round 3, Wilder assaults Fury with the Windmill of Death. Wildly throwing right hands to Fury’s head.
Fury is dodging, surviving...then...BOOM, one of Wilder’s wild punches finally catches Fury square on the chin and puts him laying flat on his back for a 10 count. Wilder KO in 3rd round.
Similarly to last fight with Tyson Fury outboxing and winning the fight on points. He may get knocked down once or even twice but that's only 1 or 2 rounds.
Although, with the 3rd fight already signed I smell something staged may happen (e.g cut opens up early and fight controversially called off or even a No Contest).
Beside the obvious predictions, Fury outboxing Wilder or wilder stopping Fury.
I seen some of the training Javon Hill put his fighters tru. A lot of balance training to have correct feet position, planting your feet for more power. Fury says he will weigh in
heavier this time. He may try to do some of the things he did against Cunningham, after the knockdown he went for Cunningham, roughing him up on the inside, walking him down, mixing head and body shots, leaning on him.
It can be unwise against a puncher like Wilder. Should be an exciting fight

Yes
Fury doesn’t really have a clear argument he won the first fight.
I also think the count was fair (by watching the clock when he falls/gets up). Still most refs would have waved it off after the very hard second knockdown.
I was happy with the result it was fair.
Hoping the next fight is even better
Mayweather fan here ... he fought defensively and won a lot of rounds without doing any serious damage. I think Fury won most of those rounds as well, but the draw was fair IMO because of the two knockdown rounds.

For all the guys picking Fury, have you dudes forgot what happened in his last fight.
He very nearly got stopped by the cherry pick in Wallin lmao.
If anything Wilder has improved while Fury has digressed.
Wilder by decapitation, no need for a third.
You’ve never corrected ****. Just because you believe the bull**** that comes out of your mouth doesn’t mean anyone else does. You can say Wilder was swinging wild and looking unskilled in the first fight. But how can you win the round when you’re running from Wilders right hand for 3 minutes?

Except rack up points while Wilder was swinging at air and falling over his own punches ? You don’t really watch boxing I know because I’ve corrected you several times on here about rounds and fights where whatever you said totally was non existent ? Ha
Even besides that the first fight exposed Wilder to an extent the second will have you guys making all kind of insane excuses like Wilder made himself ! Ha

Chickenlegs iz gunna one punch re-open up da cut dat Wallin started and da Gyspy Queen fina bleed to death so they go to the cards and da Bammer takes his first decision loss. Has to fight mi to get another shot at the title.
wilder has a puncher's chance. fury is a very good boxer and wilder will not be able to get his punches off with power or fluidity / regularity.
as long as fury stays mobile and tricky and doesn't get hit with something big he'll carry the rounds easily.
I have Fury by split decision. He has been in with Wilder once, who is a limited fighter and won’t make many, if any, adjustments.
I think he avoids the bomb this time and fights smart.
Fury beat him last time and he will beat him this time.
I just hope he doesn't get robbed again.
This maybe on Fury's mind and he might have to go for the KO himself to make sure he doesn't get robbed.
