You don't need data to tell you that Charlo and Andrade aren't draws. It's a good fight for the hardcore fans but there's not enough interest to be paying a combined $14 million for their purses. BUT then they also monetise their data..and we have no clue what that's worth. It’s a slap in the face. Charlo won’t take it. Besides either Charlo against Hurd is a bigger fight than the bum Andrade. It’s ridiculous how terrible fight fans memories are. Before Hurd lost to Williams that was next. Hurd gave us fight of the year, Boo Boo just offers the worst nickname on a paper champ ever.

my fave part of the video is where hearn says "im having alot of trouble landing andrade a big fight...ive tried..its not happening" and then immediately starts talking about charlo and some deal he "offered" him....then says "it can be a multi fight deal or one fight deal whatever he wants"......yet theres canelo and golovkin and jacobs....all right there on his network and his own network dont want andrade in the ring with any of those guys lol LoL, yea curious stuff. hearn/DAZN will offer anything to title-holders ... with some tricks attached. They are trying hard to control the belts by hook, crook, cash, or legalese. Jermall Charlo has the Eubank Jr fight for Spring 2020 (likely for Showtime, with Pacquiao and Spence likely having events on FOX near the time), that has value in the US and UK on TV, plus a potentially nice ticket seller depending on where they put it. Are you honestly arguing that Charlo's share on that pot is going to be $2m-$3m (when the just-signed PBC/Showtime deal basically has a $4m rights fee per show, adjusted per event)? Beyond that, if Hearn let Andrade go, to fight Jermall in a unification in the Fall were he to win, what do you gather Andrade's piece of that pot would be complete compared to what he's currently getting on DAZN? Charlo heads over for Canelo, without question; get something similar to what Jacobs and Kovalev got, and make a go of it. Not really sure if the deal makes sense for any of the other fights, tbh. Big money seems to fall out of the sky today. But when you go to fights they are usually half-empty. I understand they get tv money and promotional advertising money but have trouble wrapping my head around these figures. It's like money grows on trees in boxing. dazn got into boxing as soon as sports betting was legalised. dazn's parent company monetises data for the betting industry..aswell as marketing. lot of money in that alone I imagine purely because of the value of that information. On top of that, the odd fixed fight where they work with sports betting partners=$$$$$$
