The bias commentary made me ashamed to be British last night

He won 8 rounds against a 6 ft 1 B minus(lost to parker) level heavyweight who DID NOT TRAIN... Let me repeat that..DID NOT TRAIN... All i give Joshua credit for is having the minerals to go in against someone who pulverised him, but Klitscko in his mid 40s could of come out of retirement and stopped Ruiz mid to late. Woeful from Joshua. If Ruiz actually trained(not Joshua fault this btw) he would have destroyed Joshua. Anyway the false champion is back and will be exposed within the next year as he has shown me zero improvement. Wow you sound bitter. You can claim Ruiz didn’t train or not, but Joshua did what he needed too. If you want to believe he only won 8 of the rounds then you do that. Even then he won the fight comfortably. The official judges scored it 119-109, 118-110, 118-110. Two gave him 10 rounds and one gave him 11. I’ve not seen any credible scorecard (I.e non-wilder fan) give him anything less than ten rounds - that includes Ruiz and his trainer

... On the TV I had my home (Romanian) commentary, and I had the DAZN commentary on the computer... The Internet was about 45 seconds delayed, so I could compare -- the Romanian commentary was far more objective, because those guys had no dog in the fight... :) I didn't know you were Romanian. Multumesc for your opinion. "Popescu" (which really is my name) is typical Romanain... you can't find it elsewhere... :) ... and it wasn't just an opinion -- it was the factual truth...

It was no masterclass. He did well though. I think it was more of AJ summoning his Irish Gypsy heritage and going back to the basics of boxing like Tyson Fury does. That is how he was able to get past the determined Puerto Rican this time around.

With Ruiz basically doing a Ricky Hatton but actually whilst IN training camp really takes the shine of Aj poor performance. But what made it worse was Skys dreadful pay rolled commentary. "Masterclass" was used. Seriously. A tiny height, 290 pound heavyweight with zero reach who did not train properly still causes massive problems for Aj. Aj was eating body shots all night, and was rocked in many exchange's such as the 4th and 8th round. Luckily Ruiz was too fat and lacked timing due to not training to capitalise. That was not a masterclass..what Klitscko did to Sam peter etc is a masterclass...that was just one guy using a game plan okayish and the other guy being completely outta shape. What were the sky pundits watching? Wow, this was a breath of fresh air. I do think AJ did very well but it was no masterclass when Ruiz should not touch him at all with his dimensions. Let's face it, British commentators are generally one eyed, their comments on actual fights are often hard to relate to what is actually happening too. If anyone want's a good laugh look at that fight where Khan got KO'd, right up to the end Khan was supposed to be doing so well, it was all Khan, Khan and Khan until ooops.
