Joshua looked shook and is rumoured to have had a panic attack before the first fight.
Ricky Hatton ended up on drugs.
Why are the brits such mentally weak?
Tyson fury is a lunatic lmao.
Wilder didn't literally mean 'i have a spirit inside me' but Fury twisted it, made that argument, put words in wilder's mouth and that guy couldnt say anything.
However that isnt down to mental strengh, that's just down to having a big gob and Tyson talking over wilder.
Wilder, isnt good at talking.
Fury has incredible mental strength in the ring though and building up to fights. Even Wlad lost his cool against Fury inside his own mind. Fury had him bamboozled.
Could you sound like any less of a moron bro? Where do you think you are son? This is NSB, where two high profile cherry picks of British fighters with "issues" (drug use and "looking shook" lol) apparently forms a rock solid case for characteristic weakness in an entire nation's worth of fighters.
No fighter is mentally weak. it's just not a sport a weak minded person would choose. That said, some fighters are mentally stronger than others.
It's like saying a pro golfer is a bad putter. If you're on the pro tour, you're a great putter . It's just that"great" is just average for the pros. The top guys are phenomenal putters.
The British have been brain washed into being 'tolerant', the word 'tolerant' is just an excuse word for being weak in the applicable context. British tolerance actually involves giving way to minorities, illegal migrants and so on which then becomes a habit applicable anywhere there is a potential for conflict. And that of course includes boxing.
All I know is Fury played with Wilder mentally.
They recorded a Tv morning show and their face off in the same day. Fury admitted he was nice to Wilder on the morning show and not on the face off thing, just to make Wilder switch his mood too, so Wilder was always dancing to Fury’s tune
Now that’s weak.

You could say the same about any country.
Just off the top of my head at fighters here
Tyson - Probably the worst example of going off the rails
Mayweather - Been to jail for abuse
Bowe - Kidknapping
Hopkins - Robbing
Broner - abuse
Drugs ones if I remember right
Morrison?
Nunn
Ayala
Whitakaer
Jermaine Taylor
De La Hoya
And so on.
Boxers can be a real crazy bunch of people. Every country has their share of them.
Good point. as a brit i won't take this as an attack/diss/troll attempt..because you're right.
Nigel Benn was doing coke.
Eubank sr has an alter ego.
Frank Bruno, bipolar, went into suicidal depression.
Nas lost the plot, quit early, got fat.
Ricky Hatton...
Calzaghe, also kind of lost the plot because he started doing coke, cheated on his wife heavily.
Amir Khan, he's a muslim and still does coke, drinks and mentally he's not all there.
Tyson Fury...
The only one who's proven to be mentally strong has been Lennox Lewis. I put that down to the fact he mixed it with boxing legends in America before.
I would argue one reason is because there WAS a lack of a kind of british fratenity before in boxing. The guys who made it big, were on their own...left to their own devices and many of them failed.
However the old school tend to help the younger ones more now. There's more advice, more all round knowledge of the life style.
the other being..and it is really quite right...America is about 'rugged individualism'..only the toughest (mentally and physically) survive.
I grew up with a terrible physical/digestive condition that would have bankrupted my family if i grew up in the US. I cant imagine life in the States for the have-nots.
ps
is there even one thread on here where people aren't just hating lol? there doesnt seem to be any mutual respect..
the irony is boxing is the one thing ive been involved with (the gym, that is) where people are respectful regardless of your appearance/skin colour.
all solid points.
And to your point at end, all people on here do is hate.
You are trying to claim a man from a different country are your own. You’ve been exposed. GTFO my thread you retard. We are talkin boxing here.
Calzaghe was born in London, England.
Here’s joe with a damn Welsh flag in his corner you dipshit.
Fuckin brits know they are cowards and now trying to claim someone from another country as there’s

England, Wales and Scotland=Great Britain.
England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland=United Kingdom.
i havent followed that exchange to know where joe calzaghe got dragged into it, but he's not mentally strong. He was doing cocaine and hookers.
Nothing wrong with hookers if you're a millionaire though...but drugs are only for the mentally weak or incredibly stupid.

Wales is part of Britain, you cretin.
England has it's own flag too, does that mean the English aren't British?

because they normally have shiiet handed down and given to them.. they aint never had to live a hard life. so when they loses, they over react and feel like their life is over. it's because they've never been down and out before so they dont know how to act.
Damn some truth bombs right here

There's an old saying about not arguing with an idiot. They drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.
I'll just leave the advice that if you want to debate with people, try to improve your intelligence. No-one respects the opinion of a fool.

I think it is complete BS to assume that someone is mentally weak purely based on which country they're from.
That being said, far more PRESSURE on these British Fighters because they have a PRIDEFUL COUNTRY who hold their fighters up in high regards, even the ones that are not good you have Brits who will try to hype them up and make the rest of the world believe they're good :lol1: Look how f#cking emotionally attached their fans are to their Fighters. I actually respect the Loyalty they have, Americans don't have that type of Loyalty, we go against our own more than ANYBODY in America
Yeah but it is unfair to say "Most British Fighters..."
