I'm a HUGE Duran fan but Greatest of all Time????? He has a case for greatest of all time just off the fact hes the only fighter to have fought in 5 different decades imho.(nobody is the actual greatest,but Duran is among the group) Let alone that hes among the most accomplished fighters who fought literally in all of the modern golden eras of boxing from late 60s to 2001. How can you call yourself a Duran fan & not realize that this dude is among the legends of all legends that kept coming back no matter how much he was counted out by everyone even in Panama & is the truest definition of a fighter who fights for the love of being the best.

He IS #1 P4P I can take Canelo Resume and then take the other fighters you consider P4P and combine them together and STILL you wouldn't have a Resume better than Canelo. Don't matter if he lost to Mayweather and you "THOUGHT" he lost to Lara and GGG...Bottom Line he FOUGHT them ONLY Pacquiao can claim to have a better Resume Currently in the sport of boxing who is Still Active and I still think Pacquiao should be high on P4P List since he still active and just beat a World Champion...WHY NOT? Why is he being left out of P4P Rankings to begin with! Pacquiao should be eternally p4p franchise champ due to his short ass size ratio to accomplishments alone. & He should be excluded from yr round whereabouts testing requirements(as long as his opponents agree) because hes a 40 yr old senator ffs,pac is among the top 10 fighters of all time without question imo but he has a bunch of losses & razor close decisions too like Nelo gets criticized for imo too harshly in fights that warent truly close if you use 4 criteria for scoring points like you are supposed to.

P4P will always be about opinions, so it's useless to argue. As far as Canelo, I think you have to say he's the dominant MW right now but not by much. As for SMW and LHW, he's done real good but you have to take the guys he beat into account. I think Canelo should choose a division and try to unify and then he could say he was the best MW or SMW of his era.

Canelo is definitely better than I give/gave him credit for. I first saw him on the Mosley Mayweather undercard and I didn’t think he’d be a world champion from what I saw. I sometimes wish boxing can be black and white, so we could really debate who’s the best and blah blah. But it always has grey areas when it comes too “when” the fight happens, “how” it happens etc And at the end of the day, canelo seems to edge out decisions against really good fighters. Sometimes I think I’ve been spoilt with Mayweather and pacquiaio, and their ability to dominate opposition and seperate themselves from the pack. Spence or canelo for example. they get the wins but they don’t seem to dominate like the other two did when they take on solid comp. But obviously that doesn’t change that they are some of the best talent we’ve seen in a long time. I’ll say one thing though, canelo seems to be improving and the improvements are noticeable.
