OK but he actually is pretty damn good considering he's so young. Lomachenko would be the favourite if the two of them fought but I definitely don't think that fight's a waste of time, far from it. Considering how skilled and experienced Loma is I think that only makes Haney's promise all the more impressive.

Im excited about Haney and his future in this game. Im convinced over the coming years he will become Americas biggest Boxing star. He looks like he is going to quite a special fighter once hes filled out and picked up all the tricks of the trade you learn through experience. But i really couldnt go as far as saying Haney is the best fighter i have ever seen. Let him get rid of the green and hit his prime and see how he looks then. Personally i can see him going down as the best in a generation or an era, fighter of the decade, ATG, HOF. But GOAT? Thats a big ask.

He's a good young fighter and I consider myself a fan. He's very skilled and seems to keep in shape. I think he will go far in the sport.

I think they are both fun to watch — my sort of style I like most. I think Haney isn’t quite as polished as Lomachenko yet but Lomachenko better hurry and fight him before the age/experience of Haney makes him the a side. Great technical fight either way. I pick Lomachenko if it happens in the next year and a half or two years. Haney anytime after that.

Loma is not avoiding him. He hasn't done anything to earn a shot and Loma would easily beat him and is not avoiding him. Can't you come up with something more original than hungry young lion?
