I know there is a blueprint out there on how to beat Kovalev. Inside fighting is his kryptonite.
I never saw GGG in any danger when he fought Canelo. Could Canelo's power not have moved up with him as he moved up in weight?
I don't think Canelo is particularly slick defensively, especially on the outside. I think he's better defensively up close, with his body movement. So if Kovalev can line up a 1-2, I'm curious to see how Canelo takes it.
But yes, Canelo can definitely hurt Kovalev.
yes.. now can kov hurt canelo? that's the question.
Kovalev can hurt anybody
this is a guy who has killed people in the ring and drops, hurts opponents with jabs on regular basis
If he brings his A game, he could give Canelo a career ending beating
Canelo is a ballsy warrior for taking this fight

Could Canelo's power not have moved up with him as he moved up in weight?GGG is a very rugged boxer who has never been down or badly hurt in his entire career. Even though he is a middleweight GGG takes punches to the head and body much better than Kovalev. Yes, Canelo will have the punching power to hurt Kovalev especially to the body where Kovalev has shown to be weak. Yarde had Kovalev in trouble with a body attack. Canelo is a much better body puncher than Yarde. That's the plan I think. Canelo will try to work inside and hurt Kovalev with body punches. Canelo has a damn good chin and can also take body punches well. Maybe hard punching light heavyweight Kovalev can hurt or even KO Canelo.
