Around the same. I thought he'd beat Porter more comfortably than it tuned out. But with that said he does now have a better resume after a win against a good fighter.
I'd probably still lean towards Crawford if they fought.
i was never high on spence so i view him the same after the fight.
if it were pac's accurate and straighter punches last night, spence's face will be battered worse than thurman.
he's the least dynamic with the least defense among the current top dogs at ww.
he gets by with his size and power, and that's about it.
About the same, maybe slightly less. His defense is mediocre and he's there to be hit; Porter demonstrated that.
I had thought Spence/Crawford was 50/50 but now I'm thinking 40/60.
Pretty much how I feel...I originally favored Spence 60/40...for a while now I've had it 50/50...now I shade it 60/40 to TC.
Spence passed my test in some ways, and in other ways he was a little disappointing.
Spence's inside game, body work, stamina, toughness and chin all passed the test for me last night.
His jab, 'IQ' (allowing Shawn to fight his fight etc), and power all were a bit lackluster imo...and those are 3 pretty big things for a boxer.
I think people are underrating Porter and thats why people are leaning towards Spence being overrated.
I would like to add while this generation seems like alot of the fighters are close to the same level whether its Thurman,Garcia,Porter or Spence the previous generations stars in Pac and Mayweather are clearly levels above this current crop of boxers.

The same. I don't know people thought ANYBODY would just run over Porter, who has never been run over and been an elite amateur and pro throughout his career.
The fight went how I expected it, give or take
Do you think last night showed he was as good as you thought, looked worse, or about the same before the fight?
Slightly worse but still damn good. I expected him to KO Porter. I thought he won easily but Porter put up a decent fight.
About the same, but in the sense that I already was pretty well convinced Spence isn't all he's cracked up to be and doesn't tower over his top welter peers in the way some suggest, and this outing just further cemented that outlook.
Spence is no hype job he just fought a fighter who really did well in staying in his kitchen all night. Spence needs space to land his bombs and we saw what he did when he found the space late in the fight. Folks keep acting like porter is not a great fighter because he’s head first and what not. You aren’t supposed to look great against better competition, everyone can’t be Floyd.
Worse, I expected porter to land up close dirty boxing. I didn't expect porter to land easily on Spence from distance closing in. I thought Spence would slip and counter on those longer shots by Porter.
He is just the same guy I thought he was. Just, obviously, as fighter steps up in competition, it is difficult to look great in terms of stopping people. In smaller divisions top guys rarely just destroy other top guys.
