Or do boxers just not care to implement it?

You’d get KTFO throwing those type of wild strikes.
it is a good way to get knocked out
that is a very low percentage punch
I think MMA fighters get away with it because of the extra distance, and because of their stance...and because very few MMA fighters can throw a proper counter, or punch in between their opponents shots.

It works in muay Thai and MMA because they have to worry about knees and kicks so it's a nice "fake low, strike high" move.
But in boxing nobody is going to bite on that sh¡t.
Pretty much...most mma fighters that do it over exaggerate it too. It’s not even very effective in that sport most of the time cuz guys throw it from a mile away.
Illegal or not it would be a stupid move against even an amateur level fighter.
It’s effective in MMA because you have to worry about kicks and punches. In boxing jumping in the air for only a punch would leave you open to any number of counters.
do you really think that stupid punch will work in boxing??
fooking this.
This might be the most casual thread I've ever seen on NSB and I've been here since 2010.

No. It's legal. It's just a stupid punch that no pro boxer would ever throw and no decent pro boxer would ever get hit by.Good boxers throw quick short punches that have a good chance to land on a boxer with a good defense. They don't throw a leaping punch that anyone can seem coming and make miss and counter. No boxing trainer teaches his boxers the superman punch because it's a useless punch in pro boxing even if it sometimes works on far less skilled MMA guys.
Would be like baseball’s eephus pitch. It would be amusing to mix it in maybe once every couple of fights but if didn’t totally catch your opponent of guard, it would be your azs.
