Kovalev has never even went down from a body shot!

Kovalev in his whole career hasn't even been knocked down by a body shot, that is a fact. Where is this myth coming from that Canelo is some kind of huge puncher? Canelo has KOd no one elite and no one at the level of Kovalev. Amir Khan, Liam Smith, James Kirkland, Rocky Fielding....you think Kov is one of those guys ? Lmfao. People are getting caught up too much in the hype. Kovalev is used to getting hit by big Light Heavyweights. He is 2 weight classes bigger. Canelo has never gotten hit by a light Heavyweight. Kovalev is one of the hardest hitting light Heavyweights. Nvm Kovalevs jab, which is arguably the best in the sport. GGG hit Canelo with Jabs in all 24 rounds. He couldn't shut that down. Kovalev took all of Yarde's best punches and didn't go down. His mindset is different now and durability is partly a mental thing. You guys are telling me little Canelo hits as hard as Yarde? He is a better boxer, but not a bigger hitter. IF Kovalev doesn't get drained by Canelo by some kind of rehydration clause or catch-weight I will put some money on the Krusher.

Everyone and their mama claims to have the obvious Kov blueprint after Ward fights. Just punch him in the tummy and liver a few times ez work ez work. But why hasn't anyone else successfully done it?

Whole discussion is mute cuz there is surely gonna be something with weight in this fight so if that takes Kovalev from bad ass to KO L by bodyshot guy than no need to get into the particulars. Either a catchweight or rehydration clause is a virtual lock. There is hoping he won't be drained, but yeah you are probably right. Maybe I will put some money on it anyway. I'll just see how Kov looks and such

Canelo doesn’t hit hard enough is all hear let’s not forget Ward is a feather fisted fighter who beat Kovalev even though I thought he lost the first fight but he hurt him to the body. I think Canelo hits harder than Ward

Stubby doesnt have the reach to even get close to Kov’s body without taking right hands to his face. That's how it is, not a chance he gets inside. Kovalev is a well groomed outside fighter who keeps you on the end of his punishing shots. He moves a lot quicker than given credit for, I swear these Canelo fans didn't watch that fight last night. He showed he has plenty left in the tank and is wilier than ever too.
