Yup, thats the truth.
Canelo himself said in multiple interviews, that he wants to be retied before the age of 35 because at that age fighters deteriorate and arent the same anymore.
Every single elite fighter Canelo faced was over 35 years old.
When did Canelo finally man up and face GGG?
When GGG was over 35.
When did Canelo face his first real name?
Baldomir who was 39 and then Shane Mosley, who was over 40.
Which other elite fighters did Canelo face?
Floyd and Cotto, both over 35 years.
Canelo wants to face more old washed up fighters, not young, fresh fighters in their prime.
If Yarde knocks out Kovalev, Canelo will not want anything to do with Yarde who is only a year younger than Canelo.
Same with Dimitry Bivol, same with Callum Smith or Billy Joe Saunders, all of them are still too young and in their prime for Canelo.
Canelo only faces washed up top tier fighters. Thats a fact.
Pacman is the fighter that only fights washed up guys
Canelo fights undefeated GGG, undefeated Floyd, reinvigorated Cotto, undefeated Lara, undefeated Trout, tough bouts in Jacobs, Mosley, undefeated Liam Smith, undefeated Fielding...even Canelos bad fights are against world class talent LMFAOOOOO
Oh and Canelo tried fighting 1 loss Paul Williams, Victor Ortiz before Floyd, and GGG at 32-33 years (he refused catchweights)
Pacman spent his entire career fighting guys over the hill. It's just how he operates
- -PAC owns every Ring p4p record there is.
You obviously spent that time inhaling yer own bile.
No Valhalla fer you.
He definitely gots a lot of older name-ish guys on his record since he came on the big scene. Idk if this is more or less than usual doe.
2010, Carlos Baldomir, 39yrs
2010, Lovemore Ndou, 39yrs
2012, Shane Mosley, 40yrs
2013, Floyd Mayweather, 36yrs
2015, Miguel Cotto, 35yrs
2017, GGG, 35yrs
2018, GGG, 36yrs
the first 3 canelo was like 20yo ...
the last 4 they were all P4P top ten at the time of their fight..
He was a 154 "champ" almost 3 years ago. Smith was by far the weakest titleholder, in a fight that suddenly had no vada testing, against a guy who had done jack **** at an international level.
he was still 154 until the chavez fight which happened almost 2 years ago, may 2017...
But hasnt fought at the actual limit of 154 for about six years.
he fought at 154 vs liam smith and became a 154 champ until after he fought chavez jr two years ago...
Everyone knows that GGG already dropped Kovalev in sparring years ago. Now Kovalev got not just stopped by lightpunching Ward (controversial) but also by Eleider Alvarez who is no big puncher either. GGG might be old but he aint getting knocked out by nobody, the old Kazakh warrior still beat Canelo, who avoided GGG in his prime, in most peoples eyes, not once but twice. At least 1 win 1 draw.
Now Canelo is not just running from GGG, but from everyone who is not washed up, like Callum Smith, Saunders, Andrade, Bivol, Benavidez and others, just to get the scalp of another washed up fighter age 35+ who got stopped a couple times.
Great matchmaking for Canelo, just great for all the casual fans who arent able to see the pattern.
When will Canelo face a top tier fighter who is not old and washed up?
What about Bivol or Callum Smith?? No, too young, not washed up.
well canelos just fough jacobs and now he is going up two weight classes, by no means kova is a weak opponent for any lhw , let alone for a mw who was a champ at 154 only 2 years ago...

GGG was in a different weight class then canelo who was fighting at 154 ...cotto was just 35 wen canelo fought him not over 35
You can't knock canelo for fighting some people over 35...floyd fought mosley when mosley was 38 also fought manny when manny was 36
Is the narrative different now since it was floyd
Canelo was fighting at 155...
Canelo is a rare breed in the sport, I don't think we've seen someone step up to challenges like this since ODLH. Oscar saved boxing in the early 2000s and Canelo is saving it now.
Who do you guys think the next boogeyman will be for Canelo after he beats Kovalev? We know GGG fans aren't really GGG fans, they're just Canelo haters. Bivol and Benavidez are the names they've been spitting out around here lately.
If Yarde beats Kovalev in Russia he is no longer a no name. That would be a very big win and the boxing world would take notice of it. It he wins it will probably be by KO. That means you have a new young champion with 100% KOs. who KOed the famous Kovalev in Russia. Hell. that's a promoter's dream.
eledier beated kova too, and no one claim he was worth jumping 2 weight classes up... there is only one name at lhw, and thats kova... canelo has no obligations outside 160, if he doesnt fight kova, then andrade or charlo should be next, there is a lot of good fighters at 168 and 175, but they need to do more , no one really stands right now. .
kova did a lot more than just beating one name, if he gets the payday it will be well deserved...
I respect Alvarez, but this is boxing and you're only as good as your last fight.
I agree with the claim that Alvarez would get more respect if he fought Saunders or Benavidez.
If he fights Kovalev, it just looks like he's going after the weakest champ at LHW.well canelos just fough jacobs and now he is going up two weight classes, by no means kova is a weak opponent for any lhw , let alone for a mw who was a champ at 154 only 2 years ago...
no cashcow is going up two divisions for a noname... dont be a fool...
do you think ggg will go up two divisions for someone like yarde ?
of course not, and i cant blame him for that...

if he doesnt have your respect already, then he never will...
and honestly canelo shouldnt care about those kind of fans..

Industry instigated GGG vs Ward when he beat Proksa in the post ring interview. This was a time when Boxing was optimistic to see GGG fight a challenge at 168. That was 2012!
Ward years later said, “you don’t see me calling out the little man.”
GGG in the Proksa fight interview agreed that he’d like to fight anyone from 154-168 including Ward.
Fast forward and GGG fans casually forgot all that and gravitated to Canelo.
Meanwhile now Canelo still daring at 175.
GGG fans must be the saltiest. They can’t live without Canelo as the narrative to justify GGG’s wasted opportunities back from 2012.
This is the honest truthThat is a load of your usual BS. GGG never said 154 to 168 and Ward called him out when he already had a contract to fight Lemieux and then Ward moved to 175 when GGG had fought Lemieux. You lie your ass off to make Canelo sound wonderful and GGG sound bad. That's why you are red and were recently banned. There is nothing wrong with GGG staying at his natural weight of 160 and fighting the best at that weight. That was good enough for all time greats Hagler and Monzon. Canelo had to move up to 160 from 154 because he outgrew 154. It had nothing to do with daring to move up. As for Canelo's move to 168 he picked an extremely weak champ in Fielding when he could have fought the real champ Callum Smith who had already KOed Fielding in two rounds before Canelo fought him. So now Canelo is "daring" 175 but only against twice KOed old man Kovalev. No Beterbiev 16 and 0 with 16 KOs, Bivol 16 and 0 with 11 KOs or Gyozoyk 17 and 0 with 14 KOs or Yarde 18 and 0 with 18 KOs need apply because Canelo is not interested. Nobody is asking Canelo to fight Kovalev when he has so much unfinished business at 160. We know he won't fight GGG outside of Vegas no matter what. But Andrade and Jermall would give him a challenging fight and he gave up the IBF belt rather than fight Dervy for it. No need for Canelo to leave 160 unless he can't make 160 anymore.
Canelo would probably earn more respect by beating Saunders or Benavidez.
if he doesnt have your respect already, then he never will...
and honestly canelo shouldnt care about those kind of fans..

Looks like you were completely unaware Fielding had already been stopped.
See, what had happened was... Initial two posts from this thread are from GGG groupies!
Moving along now!And the third post was from the most insane Canelo worshiping groupie on earth.
