Can anyone name with confidence some boxers who they are certain aren't doping?
With the recent stuff with Whyte...and BJS...and Willie Monroe...and now the Hurd/J Rock stuff....I mean I am just suspicious of everyone.
Whyte/Fury/BJS do not really have the roider body type...yet were all doping...WMJ while having the shredded physique...is a featherfisted guy, would have never suspected him.
Hurd using wouldn't surprise me...but JRock seems to have undergone a fairly impressive transformation as well...and the SNAC stuff is just very suspicious to me...seems to be hiding in plain sight in a way.
The guys who are in great shape come fight time set off alarm bells...you don't often ever see guys that fit...I'm sure most of them are taking a lot of legal stuff as well, but the physiques, and transformations, of most of the fighters just seems to set off alarm bells.
Part of me just feels like it is a culture thing like cycling was/is...where to compete at the top level you almost have to start doping...and there are wink/wink ways around it to not get caught, which guys on the inside can get away with unless they get stupid or really unlucky.
So my question is are there any boxers out there who people feel confident in saying they are not doping? I honestly wouldn't feel confident betting on any of these guys...if any of them came out as doping it wouldn't surprise me.

Wilder only one doing VADA 365 Donaire was, but I heard he is no longer doing it. This is different then CBP which uses VADA, but hardly ever tests. VADA 365 you pay for yourself and Wilder has been doing this for a few years.
Not really
They are not commies for sure .
"Politics of Ukraine. Politics of Ukraine takes place in a framework of a semi-presidential representative democratic republic and of a multi-party system. Executive power is exercised by the Cabinet of Ministers (until 1996, jointly with the President). Legislative power is vested in the parliament (Verkhovna Rada). "
Bro, he's a commie. They all dope over there
I like your politics...other than that not much else ;) lol
"Absence of evidence is not evidence of absence."
For confidence in a drug testing agency, there has to be complete autonomy from the fighter, the alphabets and the state commissions, who all have a vested interest in the results.
Imagine MLB's Mike Trout having a personal contract with USADA, the way FM did. It's fukin laughable.
Until there's a credible person as Boxing Czar, who has final authority, all drug testing just isn't credible (and that's not even going into the science of beating the tests.)
Good post bro...basically sums up my sentiments here
I think the large majority of boxers are clean, it is just that boxing is now going through the fall out of doping 'That sports such as Track and Field athletics, Cycling went through this many decades ago'. Boxing is only just going through these fall out stages now, due to boxing fans being more educated and more Olympic styled drug testing protocols being implemented in the game.
Donaire, Wilder, Inoue, Bivol and the Ukrainian triplets.
But I actually believe that most fighters are clean.
Fair points...I hope you guys are correct
I believe everyone is doping
I know some guys haven’t been caught , but imo it’s just that , they haven’t been caught
Ask any gymhead , what’s the first thing he was offered when he started the gym
I’ll give you a hint , it ain’t no smoothie
Go to a regular commercial gym. A 24 hour fitness. An LA fitness, whatever.
If regular people are using PEDs/Steroids/etc., it's not uncommon to believe professional athletes are as well.
It's really not even difficult to get some.
You'd be surprised how common it's becoming.
Yep my thoughts are similar...good posts
Golovkin is certainly clean, for one.
I would wager he is...only caveat would be if he feels he needs an extra edge now that he is getting older, and if some younger guys coming up are doping he may say 'f it, why not'...but I would still wager that he is clean.
He publicly promoted the enrollment to a year-long random drug test... Nobody in the sport did that at the time...
Many boxers followed afterwards...
Very cool thanks for the info man..nice to see there are still some honest guys out there...some guys who beat their chest too much about how clean they are, are a little suspect...but I can't imagine a boxer really pushing for that unless he was clean...or really arrogant lol
No they don’t.
For every contender and champion there are tons of club fighters and journeymen who have no incentive to do this — it would be wasted money.
Go to a club show sometime where the headliner might be an 8-3 guy against a 6-4 guy (and the rest of the card may be like 2-3 vs. 6-7, or even an undercard where the 11-0 prospect is fighting someone who is 4-12 ... out of those at most the 11-0 guy is possibly doping.

QRD on what he did?

I figured it was basically known that probably every top level professional fighter is on something.
I guess in that case...the ability to get away with it for so many of them is astounding, if not impressive...but in general I agree that PED usage is probably widespread

Idk man...walking around my local gym I would imagine a high percentage of average Joes are taking some type of supplement(s) and would be bordering on taking illegal if not outright illegal ones.
I agree that it probably isn't as widespread amongst the lower level guys, because they don't really have the means as you suggest...but guys at that level have even more of a motive sometimes to actually dope, since they want to actually get to that top level.
There are several different types of PED'S like EPO which has 0 to do with weight or muscle gain...Hell some PED'S allow a man to make a certain weight
Good point/post....
