You are annoyed Floyd didnt move up 2-3 weight classes overnight to fight a guy who wouldve been labeled "washed up" or "drained" had Floyd beat him?
I liked Wright, but he was fairly basic. I do believe Floyd wouldve beaten him in 2005 because he was still in his athletic prime then. He was very, very fast. Tough fight for sure, but I'm not disappointed it never happened.
Winky campaigned at 160 during 2005 and Floyd at 140. And you're legitimately suggesting the 140lb fighter "ducked" the Middleweight.
Might want to think that one over
Yet, you still maintain floyd would have beat him.
And you already have a hypothetical reaction had Floyd beat him.
Winky was fighting at 160 in 2005. Floyd was fighting at 140 in 2005.
When would this fight have taken place and at what weight class?
The only REAL "A" MISSES on Floyd's career as Tsyzu and Manny 2009-2012 (again that wasnt just Floyd's fault). Tsyzu was a miss though - no question about it

The last fight Floyd ever had where he was the betting UNDERDOG was Diego Corrales.
It's a stretch to say Winky was A level although he was definitely a solid B/B+
Not on fight night .https://3kingsboxing.com/today-boxing-history-mayweather-vs-corrales-vintage-pretty-boy/
Winky would have had a great chance in outjabbing floyd all night .
Diego Corrales wasnt prime? I mean Diego was literally favored and Floyd was underdog in that fight.
And at 130/135 Diego was B+/A- level
The only fighter Floyd couldve fought that was "A" level was Pacquiao. And that fight happened later due to drug testing discrepancies and then Manny losing to JMM. Canelo is too far off in age for that fight to have happened when he entered his prime.
De La Hoya and Mosley didnt fight Floyd in their respective primes. That was their choice as THEY were the PPV attraction, not Floyd.
Hatton was undefeated although clearly not A level...maybe C+/B-
JMM is an A level opponent..at 135. Nonetheless it was a good performance.
Floyd's win over Genaro Hernandez was excellent although it was probably as Genaro was exiting his prime.
The only fights Floyd missed were:
Tsyzu and Pac sooner (both sides screwed that up). Not a single other "A" opportunity
Floyd was 6-5 favorite on betting night .
Floyd could have fought Winky at a catchweight too.
Winky was willing to do it .
Don't matter.
Leonard fought Hagler and was 3-1 underdog going in the week of the fight .
He was also off for years .
That would be like Floyd coming back now and fighting someone and be a 3-1 underdog.
No matter what weight division .
Floyd has never been 3-1 underdog EVER.
Pac and Hopkins have been .
Canelo would qualify as the younger, bigger, stronger fighter that could of possiblity been seen as a favorite but Floyd is so good that even at 36 and a much smaller man he was still the favorite and performed like one. Floyd just on a different level

you forgot baldomir hater!
LMAO, For years everyone on here ragged on Loma for losing to Salido. "Uber driver", "Bum", "so many losses on his record". They still do even though he's beaten better fighters since then.
Now you're trying to claim it as a great win for an ATG boxer?
Hypocrisy at it's finest :lol1:
show me where i said that
I don't think he was a cherry picker per se. I think he looked at the situation with Golden Boy and how he felt he wasn't being compensated commensurate with his skills and then became very strategic as to how he selected his opponents to shift the dollars in his favor.
I think he woke up and realized that the game had changed so that compensation was no longer based on merit and responded accordingly.
what you just described is cherry picking
ok??? same Salido YEARS!!!!!!!!!!!! LATER BEAT LOMA

Hatton, Corrales, and Alvarez are the best prime guys. I don't think anybody's mistaking them for high rank prime atg fighters.*
Take it for what it's worth.*
Floyd Boys get the sniffles that there isn't more widespread respect for the resume post Oscar, but fear not Floyd Boys. For your never ending loyalty Floyd has free tickets for you for his next sideshow, um I mean boxing match.
You want to do some research? Google Floyd cherrypicking and see what happens.
Anyways don't worry Larry. Dunn, Iron Dan, and the rest of the Floyd Boys will help you dig up old posts of mine. Lol.

Except you're wrong, Ray started his career at 147, Floyd 130, you don't see a significant size and weight difference?

So, that answer is none?
IF he went up to 160 to fight GGG, the betting odds would not be worse than in Pac fighting him
That would have been like Leonard fighting Hagler .

How does that happen when the boxing world views you as the best in the sport for the majority of your career?
