why do they want to fight a southpaw particularly?
Firstly, there aren't many southpaw Heavyweights out there man.
This is strange. First they wanted to fight Charles Martin, who also happens to be a southpaw. Odd choice. And now they are fighting Otto Wallin who is also a southpaw. What is behind this? Is he planning on fighting Luis Ortiz or something? Does he think Ortiz beats wilder?
I can't think of any other southpaw Heavyweights.
Because surely this is a very weird way to prepare for a wilder fight. Looking to fight a southpaw particularly in preparation for Wilder with one of the biggest right hands...
Makes you wonder
What difference does it really make if he KOs a southpaw in ten minutes or a right handed boxer in ten minutes? He can find the right sparring partners to prepare him for whoever he fights.
I remember people were saying a 6ft Hammer was terrible prep for Klitschko and look how that turned out.
I doubt this fight is prep for anything though. Just a fight to make money and get a W.
