Why would DAZN not approve of Derev for Canelo? But he's ok for GGG?

Derevyachenko was never a primary option for either. DAZN wanted Canelo to fight GGG or Kovalev. Canelo got cold feet when it came to the Kovalev fight and he wouldn't fight GGG to save his life. Therefore, Derevyachenko was forced into the equation. IBF was even willing to give Canelo a voluntary defense without having to face Derevyachenko. No one wanted the Derevyachenko fight, and now he's being forced into the equation because neither have opponents.

Canelo may get paid more, but he brings in subscribers, advertisers, the public. Basically he brings in revenue and profits. GGG getting paid $10-15 million is worse because GGG brings nothing. GGG does not bring in revenue and profits to DAZN For that $10-15million DAZN gains nothing but red ink. Pretty sure they did but it seems to ended up the best scenario we could ask for. Ggg fights for the IBF and Canelo unifies with Andrade and the winners meet next spring. Chances are GGG wasn't gonna fight Andrade if Canelo fought Derevyanchanko. Hope Canelo and Andrade can get a deal done. Did I read that Derevyanchanko passed on 5 million? Are you fking kidding me!!! Who do these guys think they are. Andrade will be trying to get Jacob's money so I think theres a good chance that fight doesn't get made either.

DAZN wanted to guarantee the GGG trilogy fight from Canelo if he took on Derev. They don't have to worry about GGG avoiding that fight. There's your answer plain and simple. They just have to worry about Triple Tune-Up avoiding every other fight imaginable.

Me thinks this is DAZN's way of forcing a Saul/Golo trilogy. Theyre hoping/expcting for Golo to win the belt (cause Saul said Golo NEEDS a belt in order for them to fight again). The BIG question is, will a trilogy actually happen if golo/derv end up being a golo win? If Canelo gets 35 million and he needs to pay Derv 7 million to get the fight made that still leaves him 28 million. How do you know Canelo-Derv generates ten times more sales and why do you care? I got DAZN before Canelo joined and will keep getting it if he leaves. So you are saying DAZN hates the wonderful Canelo and loves the evil GGG. Why? You love Canelo and hate GGG.
