Seems unlikely to me that his trainers/nutritionists would feed him anything but the best and cleanest meat around leading up to the fight.
It was also before the biggest fight of his career where he had clearly lost the first fight so could he have wanted that extra advantage.
There's no smoke without fire I say
Cant we all just agree that canelo is a cheat. Marquez is a cheat. And of course Manny is a cheat.
Marquez and manny never tested positive
Canelo did
And blamed it on tacos lol
You are a the highest paid boxer and you a 45 million dollar fight coming. Just don't eat ANY Mexican beef and be clean no matter what. If he tested at such a low level why did the testers find him guilty?
That is a valid argument but that is a different argument than most of the people here are making which is that it is nonsense and he purposely doped. Hell, I am not even saying he does not dope just that it would not be with Clen at that point in time of a training camp. He is not cutting weight at that time and he can get a TUE for better bronchodilators.
And the reason for his suspension is GGG forcing the issue. Every other time with Clen and Mexican meat the punishment is moving your camp to the US, more drug tests and a strong warning.
Does it really matter?
I guarantee you, almost every ****ing top level athlete is on some sort of PEDs.
Let's take recent greats: Marquez, Pacquiao, Floyd, Wladimir--- you'd have to be an absolute ****** to think any of them were legit. A boxer at 40 years old more ripped, more muscle mass/heavier than when they were in the prime? Are you serious?
I hate to break it to you all, but Canelo & even Golovkin are all probably on roids. There's so many ways to cheat the system, but people have a hard time accepting their heroes (they're ****ing boxers for christ sake), are incapable of doing wrong. When your health is on the line, and millions of dollars are at stake, how many of you actually think the majority of these fighters are that selfless?
Even average non-athletes using PEDs/steroids is pretty common these days and becoming more widespread. You go to any commercial gym, and I guarantee you out of 10 gym-goers, probably 1 is on something.
Any regular kid can go online and research how to do a proper cycle/stay safe doing it, the different types of PEDs, and even get some easily enough.
random note and fyi, but Clenbuterol has a very short life-cycle.
It's recognised elimination half life in humans is around 35 - 36 hours. I'm not sure whether that qualifies as long or short in relation to other substances used as performance enhancers, but it's definitely at the long end of the scale when it comes to recreational drugs.
Mmm...
Dianabol half life 6 hours (though with longer lasting metabolytes)
Oxilofrine half life 8.5 hours
Meldonium half life 3.6 - 6.6 hours (non-linear. increases with repeat use)
His version of events makes the most sense given the evidence and much sense than many of the comments around him popping. He popped for trace amounts of Clen which is used as a cutting agent which given the length of the time to the fight does not make sense to use. And is used as a bronchodilator which if this was the reason for use he could easily get TUE to use more effective drugs. So we have a low motive to use Clen.
Combine that with a history of contaminated meat in Mexico to the point where a hundred kids popped. That the NFL and other sports leagues warn players of before they vacation or play games there. That Canelo popped for levels consistent with contaminated meat. That he tested for a level that is well below doses needed to be effective. Oh, right I forgot his trainers were butchers so they have a superpower to test and see everything the cow consumed before it was butchered. You are a the highest paid boxer and you a 45 million dollar fight coming. Did it? I thought the second fight was an even clearer W for GGG.
Wouldn't be surprised if it was Oscar calling in a favour tbhMost viewers think GGG won both fights. Canelo refuses to fight GGG outside of Vegas and GGG refuses to fight him in Vegas again so there will be no 3rd fight. Canelo makes sure he fights the tough guys in Vegas only.

i dont buy it tbh
he got caught, thats it
2nd fight proved he can beat GGG without roid thou

lol. cycling.
If the plan was to really make sure that a cycle was off, Canelo would've agreed to signing 60 days away. The more insecure you are to cheat, the closer you sign off on VADA to the fight.
The longer out to an event the less PEDs even help an athlete. You do realize Lance Armstrong was taking PEDS DURING Competition as Contador!
Here's Contador during the Tour de France...and no.. the Tour De France isnt a one day event! lol
lets us guess. Contador stopped time on Day 5. 'Cycled' (pun intended - bikes!) for a month with Clen, then sped up time back to normal to give this!
Day 4: negative
Day 5: positive (nano trace clen)
Day 6: negative
He used to sub out his whole vascular system ffs what a terrible example to use. Stop pretending your loling when you're clearly riled about this topic. Don't make excuses for cheating man.
lol. before VADA or USADA, what do you think ''post'' fight fail means? When do you think a boxer would have taken something to get a failed test in the era of post fight faillures?
Yall make it too easy. You sure are a funny guy. You lol every post. Your beloved Canelo is being accused of cheating so your aren't lol at at all.
You say Canelo performed EVEN better in the rematch implying he won both fights. So how exactly did you score the 1st and the 2nd fights and I am sure you scored them both. Just how much did you have Canelo winning by? I am curious.
He had scored it GODnelo-GayGG. That's literally all you need to know about how he thinks of these fights.

Oh cmon you don't how cycling works? You make yourself look a fool on this topic.
I used to do rock climbing.
Do you believe me what a difference there is with 15lb less weight?
I could still accomplish both practical climbs about 1min difference apart. It’s not that it is hard, but I’ll tell you for a fact as any other athlete, or even a simple jog, that you feel much better being lighter.
Canelo bulked up in the GGG fight being insecure taking such power shots. Canelo has proven stylewise that going through inside fighting or the ropes that he enjoys shelling up.
Canelo learned that he could take GGG’s power but too much weight going 12 with Gennadiy Golovkin means he needs to go harder 12, and that’s why he performed even better in the rematch. Lighter, now muscle defined for 160. Canelo was more heavy water wise whereas in the rematch it’s more dense muscle than water filling him up.
Plus moving as athletic like Canelo with that weight is dangerous with his knee maneuvering, so he needed to be about 5lb lighter.
None of that suggests PED use...particularly theory of 80 days away from a nano trace doesn’t benefit anyone. That’s not how PEDS workYou say Canelo performed EVEN better in the rematch implying he won both fights. So how exactly did you score the 1st and the 2nd fights and I am sure you scored them both. lol.
These theories would at least make sense if Canelo was caught during fight week.
Sure if people decided to juice on fight week which they don't usually. People making the excuse that even good quality meat in Mexico is contaminated forget that there are laws in Mexico preventing (legit) farmers from letting that happen. That's all I'm saying. I think most fighters are juicers tbh.
So just cause he's stocky and in good physique that means he's on steroids/PED's??
I can tell you're just a fat, greasy, sloppy, fat fucc who's Never worked out a day in your life! 🤣😂🖕
Funny how you missed the part where he cancelled vada testing for the Smith fight.
People also must realise that farmers aren't allowed give steroids to the animals for a minimum of three days before slaughter so the meat can't be contaminated. He either claims he ate crappy meat or he didn't. He juiced basically, let's face it.
Apparently if you're a professional fighter to fly your cows in from japan and they only eat tofu and holy water.
Never understood why people believe that Canelo is incapable of eating an Al Pastor taco like the rest of the peasants
He could have had a taco but with a 45 million dollar fight at stake he might be more careful than that. Nobody flies in cows from Japan. Boxers don't eat a whole cow just some steaks. He can bring beef in from the states or train on another meat besides beef.
