That was prime Thurman. He’s 30. Look at Manny’s fights at 30. And yes, Manny should retire after a historic win like this. End his legacy like that. No better way. "Prime" is not a year, it's a state of being. The guy had injuries so bad he was out 2 years. He's clearly past prime. That said, he was still the #3 guy in the division and an incredible victory for Manny. I do agree that the victory is so big that there's really no better fight to go out on.

Khan is a china chin doll. Nobody would pay to see that. Khan was paid an estimated 7 million to fight Billy Dib a matter of weeks ago, they would both get paid very well to fight in Saudi Arabia.

... of course... ... while all the die hard Floyd's fans above are shouting: "retire, retire"!... :) He's in his 40's and fighting in a weight class that arguably has the deepest talent pool, not only currently but also historically. Why keep going and risk getting beaten into retirement when he can just go out on a high? Its got nothing to do with Mayweather, he's not coming back, that's abundantly clear and they've already settled it 4 years ago.

If he doesn’t fight Spence or Crawford then go fight danny garcia.

Defo needs to retire, the young guys will eventually hurt him. Thurman is nothing special and he got pacquiao good to the body, which slowed him down a lot, and was landing clean to the head too. If he fights spence or Crawford they’ll break his body down and then do some damage. Sorry, I’m a big pac fan but that is what will happen, he shouldn’t be fighting these young guys now. I think, if there is a last fight, it should be against mayweather and then done. Pacquiao’s style doesn’t suit an older guy. Spence can’t counter for sht, doesn’t hit as hard as thurman and has poor defense and is even more flat footed with no headmovement. The only obstacle i see for Pacquiao in that fight is his stamina which he showed vs thurman is pretty bad and Spence is a volume fighter. Besides that Pacquiao can also likely easily defend against Spence similar to Garcia as Spence really isn’t that good at mixups and setting shots up. If Pacquiao had fought Spence yesterday he’d have beaten his ass even worse than he beat Thurman. Pacquiao’s power vs no defense is a bad mix. Next year though I don’t know, Spence likely survives an early beatdown and decisions a fatigued Pacquiao with volume playing safety first to a boring decision like vs Garcia.

I was hoping to see him retire after Bradley 3, now we're in 2019 and he just added even more accomplishments to his legacy. I don't know anymore, it's up to him, I just really hope he knows when it's time to hang them up. This is one guy who should not be beaten out of the sport like all the others.

I've always been a Pac fan and liked him more than Floyd. You already know that because I've had to explain it to your weird ass many times. When you have to pretend people are fans of certain fighters because your mind can't handle it any other way, maybe it's time to ask your family for help.

I have a feeling they'll do something sleazy and push for Manny vs Spence. Spence was already pushing for that before the fight.

Honestly I think he really rolled the clock back. I don't even think it was a faded or rusty version of Thurman either, I thought Thurman fought a lot better than he did against Lopez. It was just a great performance by Manny. There were question marks against his wins over Broner and Matthysse but this one is just a legit win over a very good fighter. I still think he'd get hurt against Spence and I think Crawford would be too good, but at the very least he's got a shot against anyone else and if the money's right for him then there's no reason for him not to take the fight. On the other hand, if he's decided that this is the one he wants to bow out on, I'd have nothing but respect for that either. There is going to be a point where he just can't do it anymore and it might be better for him to finally bow out before then. This win would serve as a fitting capstone to an incredible career.
