I know it was already enough threads about ggg-canelo second fight. But I'm disgusted by GGG haters and canelo nuthuggers saying that canelo beat GGG in rematch.
Have a look at very accurate punch stats.

Before the muppets say that the author of video is GGG fan HE IS NoT.
A side is whoever is the biggest star. That's clearly Cashnelo with the begger fan base and following.
True. If the decision went to GGG it would not have hurt the cash cow because he's the cash cow
A side when it comes to the decision should be the champ. GGG should have been given the nod in the 2nd fight. It would not have hurt Canelo it would have enhanced him $$ wise. It would have been better for the sport.

You guys still arguing about this? Canelo has showed improvements with each fight. You can see how he improved his positioning and punch placements even after the GGG 2 fight while GGG is more of the same. GGG tried to implement some new strategies, but when he kept getting tagged, he went back to his old ways. Canelo is a lot more consistent in changing things up and adapting on the fly compared to GGG. Some people learn and execute things faster while some are slow and will never change no matter how they try to change.
Canelo just process things a lot faster than GGG, has more gears to his offence/defence while GGG is just a technically sound fighter who is comfortable with what he does, but when things get tough or when he senses someone else has the skills + power + chin to withstand him, he goes back to the jabs and gets overly cautious. It's just the way it is.
Totally agree, open favoritism exist in boxing. I think generally the A side will always have that favoritism and the only way the b side will win is if by KO or overly dominating the A side. If the match is too close it will automatically be given to the a side. This makes it more difficult to dethrone the king but I don't know.. I think I actually like this mechanism. Champs stay on the throne longer which is funner and ultimately better for the sport. Otherwise it becomes MMA and the top is always shifting. Especially if the way fights are judged are by expert opinions which are still opinions.
I think Canelo will eventually meet some one that completely dominates him but I don't think that is GGG or any of the existing MWs. I think he's what... 5'8? If he keep being a maniac and picking fights with SMWs and LHWs he's eventual gonna get recked. Lol, I'm 5'8 so when he does **** like that I'm like hell no haha, I'd get my ass whooped

Well put. The problem is fans get annoyed with the obvious Canelo favoritism which exists on all fronts. Basically in my opinion he has a granite chin and will never get KO'd and automatically gets 6 rds whether he convincingly wins them or they are close. Then the outcome is the same 2 judges score it close for Canelo vs anybody who's competitive and one judge has him winning 8 rounds to 4 rounds. It's easy to go into a fight knowing this so confidence is sky high which gives him an additional edge because he knows he'll win by decision or stoppage. I don't blame the guy for this but this is the reality. How does GGG compete against this in addition to the fact that Canelo has great defense. It's all wrong for GGG even if he wins in the eyes of the fans.

You had GGG winning and I had Canelo winning. At the end of the day they both fought for our entertainment and it was worth every penny I spent. Can't we all just move on and hope they continue to keep impressing us with the new challenges they'll put in front of themselves? We're putting too much imphasis on "L"s and "W"s when at the end of the day they are estimated opinions of three judges. What if we all just focused on the the skill, talent and show that our favorite boxers put on. And you know why Canelo has a big fan base.. It's not because" W"s or "L"s, it's because it is actually entertaining to watch him disarm bigger opponents that usually get knockouts. You might not like him but it makes no difference because I'm funding the fights and the fighters I want to watch.

It was a draw last time I checked. I thought Canelo won the first three and last three.
you should probobly check more, because believe it or not in boxing people are awarded the wrong decision all the time. boxrec says draw doe, so it must be true!
General consensus among fat balding so called media that never boxed a day in their life.
The actual fighters believed canelo whooped ggg ass.
Yeah ask Mungua haha
Other guys have titles.
GGG is just another guy in line.
It’s not like they don’t have unfinished business. I mean, I’d have been kinda pissed if ggg walked away with his belts after the draw...and the 2nd fight was even closer than the 1st imo. They’re the 2 best in the division right now, and I’d prefer to see them settle it, over any other fights at this point. I don’t really see a sound argument to not wanting the #1&2 guys in any division to face each other.
I was wondering the same thing :dunno:
If Nelo and GGG do it a 3rd time, it will be even easier for Nelo. GGG fans will spew nonsense and say how Nelo ''waited'' for GGG to become older than Moses.
What exactly is in it for Nelo ????
I give canelo the edge going into a 3rd fight. If canelo does wait til next year to fight him, what will the reason be? Both guys are clear to do it in September, so why not?
Biggest fallacy with that fight is that ggg came out to pressure canelo and got “out mexican’d”. Ggg came out boxing from the opening bell. People view this fight with the wrong context. Ggg used his length and boxed, he may not look pretty doing it but that’s what he did. ”just cuz ggg didn’t walk canelo down he lost doe”.
That said, I’m not mad at anyone who had canelo winning. He landed some showy shots and his defence was more aesthetically pleasing. He also dominated in the body punching department, although it didn’t have the desired effect later in the fight cuz ggg was coming forward beating canelo up, not slowing down.
Not even for a minute in either fight. You are exaggerating, bro.
I'm sure your quote button works .....
Have fun playing that ''GGG beat Nelo 2x'' game in your head or amongst fellow lunatics.
I'm anxious to see who GGG fights to fulfill his contract....I mean besides begging Nelo for a 3rd payday.
Lol..that was purely coincidence. I originally wrote “out mexicaned”, but it didn’t look right.

You're calling over 100 professional boxers and trainers muppets.
If you think the first fight 'could of gone either way' you should prolly stop watching boxing, it was a clear 8-4 / 9-3 victory.
