Well I root for a competitive exciting fight first. I’d never want to see any fighter get screwed out of a victory if I thought they deserved it. If Thurman beats on Manny then I’d like to see him fight the other top guys. But we know Thurman says he’s gonna take a break after the fight. This is a guy who just had two years off. If he wins hopefully he has a change of heart and uses the momentum to make other fights quick. But it’s hard to get behind a guy who says he’s gonna take another layoff. The better Thurman looks the more frustrating it will be even for you if he decides to sit back again. Thurman’s more likely to retire after the fight than Manny. May the best man win of course. I just don’t think Thurman needs boxing like sum others do is all. Ward was a great fighter but his career isn’t legendary. WHAT for real??? I think Thurman's power is a little overrated tbh. At this stage of his career I would say Pacquaio is at a disadvantage but im not so sure Thurman will ko him.

Pac is a devout Christian who quotes scriptures and he is ANGRY for a change. Of late, Pac has shown a lot of respect for his opponents and wished for an entertaining fight, but this time pac has stated that Thurman will answer for his comment. pac received worse shots than those and it didnt make him flinch. pac has never been beaten up, nor clam up in ANY of his fights. you need to KO pac, or outpoint him, but you'll never make him back down or go into a shell no matter what hooks you dish out.

Manny is clearly way past his physical prime but still a top level fighter, goes to show what a true ATG Pacman is, 50-50 fight with the #1 welterweight at age 40. Thurman needs to assert himself as one of the greats of the new era and add another signature win to his resume. A dominant performance would really help him hit mainstream, but any kind of win against Pacquiao is the jackpot really.
