After last night,it seems like Ruiz had more than just clogged arteries hidden under those fat folds. He went in as a replacement with little to no hope, took ajs titles, and flipped the division on it's head. The king is dead, long live the king. So how do you guys see usyk doing against Ruiz at heavyweight?
Despite Ruiz being a real underrated fighter I think Usyk outboxes him pretty comfortably. Usyk knows how to move around the ring, he is just as fast as Ruiz if not faster, he is a southpaw, great ring iq and skills.
One of the larger weight differences if they do fight? Ruiz will have little motivation to get below 268 lbs.
now that he became a champion, I do expect him to drop 18lbs or so. still will be out of shape, but that will help him.

The opposite is true actually. Usyk moves like water and will be in and out of range showing crazy angles all night. Ruiz's best bet would be to come in light otherwise he'd get boxed to death.
For months/years I've been saying Fury and Usyk are the real players at Heavyweight. I have been mocked on here regularly by the resident casuals/haters. Now, suddenly, they have all had these great epiphanies that Fury and Usyk are actually pretty good... :lol1:
I think this is the only chance Usyk gets to be a unified champ.
I think he beats all heavyweights not named Fury. He’s a better fighter than Fury but the style and size would be too difficult.
Usyk style is wrong for him because he can box and move all night and is thought to tag clean.
Usyk wins 117-111. I always maintained Joshua wouldn’t have had much chance against Usyk either.
