was a huge upset.
Any true boxing fan knew that Ruiz had more skill than Joshua but that Joshua had the size advantage.
Stop acting like you’re surprised Ruiz won, lmao. I’m not surprised in the slightest that Ruiz won. And this fight isn’t one of the biggest upsets in boxing history. Foh...
It was definitely a surprise because until then, Andy had not shown his potential.
Andy lost to Joseph Parker. It was not a robbery. It was a close fight that could've gone either way. He went 10 rounds with Kevin Johnson. Went 10 rounds with Raphael Zumbano and an aging Liakhovich.
Up until the AJ fight, his career was largely considered a disappointment.

Live with it...!!!??? Hahahahaha...!!
I don’t care if he’s a puncher or not. He got the champ out of there.
Yep he sure did and that says more about AJs chin then it does Ruiz's power.
i was talking about your "logic" behind power.
you are a clueless bum 👍😂

Then why did you dispute it when I said he was not heavy handed???Maybe you quoted wrong post.

To most anyone who knows boxing don't make out a guy who has a bit more then a 50% KO ratio to be the next Liston or Foreman. Ruiz is NOT a puncher so live with it.Live with it...!!!??? Hahahahaha...!!

Boxing CLEARLY is not yours.Ruiz is not heavy handed and you wont get ONE not frickren ONE trainer to say he is.Dude you have ALOT to learn.Your just gonna have to accept your hero did not get KOed by a big puncher, live with it.

It's amazing how far Ruiz had fallen under the radar. He had only one loss coming into the Anthony Joshua fight and that was to Joseph Parker which was a very disputed decision.
However, he's been fighting his entire life. He had an amateur pedigree with over 110 fights. That's nearly three times as many as AJ had. So naturally he was the more skilled and fundamentally sound of the two fighters.
science isn't you forte is it?

Ruiz does NOT have heavy hands he is a somewhat sharp puncher but not a big one and deff not heavy hands.Which fight has he shown even SOMEWHAT heavy hands?Lets not forget his 1st 34 fights where he has a KO% OF 65% against top 20 fighters at best outside of Parker who he did not hurt AT ALL.AJ does not a have a good chin, but his biggest problem is his mental makeup and lack of TRUE confidence.
That 65% knockout power tkod the titlist.
He is not heavy handed AT ALL.Not even a little.Heavy hands means you DONT NEED SPEED like Foreman.Even Wilder who has once in a generation type power IS NOT heavy handed he gets his power from speed and leverage and a little heavy hands.Lets not forget Ruiz's 1st 34 fights where he had not KOed anyone of note.He has decent power at best and their is at least 5-6 of the top 10 who hit harder and that's not counting the prospects.
