my honest, unbiased, belief here
the situation somewhat mirros Floyd/pac...although wilder is certainly not near where either of those guys were at the time as far as "stardom"
but its similar....Floyd got jerked around by arum....Floyd thought he was negotiating with them and the whole time bob had no intention on making the fight...he had clottey and dallas in his pocket the whole time....so much that when they announced that Floyd was left dumbfounded....he had to get haymon to break up berto/mosley so that Floyd himself could get mosley...because Floyd was left without a big dance partner
if Floyd didn't want that pac fight they would have just made Floyd/shane from the get go
looking at aj/wilder....it was much the same from hearn....I can go over all the guys that have blamed hearn and all the quotes and stupid sheet hes said and done..all the backtracking an flip flopping...the contradictions and all the dumb stuff AJ said...I wont bother.......but hearn jerked wilders team around and on top of that acted like a child and called an old man silly names like a kid
wilder now knows that AJ kind of needs this fight...idc what AJ fans say or think....soon AJ is going to need this fight...the public and the boxing media will demand it...they wont stand to let it go too long the way pac/Floyd did.....they saw something like that playing out with canelo/ggg possibly....so they acted and put pressure on canelo
maybe AJ can get a fury fight..or a usyk fight...but other than that the public isn't going to tolerate him fighting millers and povetkin much longer even if it will still sell in the UK
wilder knows this....hes having his fun with them....hes not going to give in and let them have this fight on their terms solely....hes going to fight dom and then come back to them and say "lets do this....but were not doing this just DAZN thing....were both bringing something to the table and its not going to be a DAZN fight solely"
wilder can turn down their deal and the demand for the AJ/wilder fight will still be there after brezeale...he can come back to them after AJ fights miller.....he knows he doesn't have to give in and hes not about to give into hearn even if hearn isn't actually present at the meetings...giving into them is giving into hearn and wilders team is full of people much smarter than hearn...that's just fact
even though DAZN is separate from hearn....they are also related.....you don't go jerking someone like wilder around...someone with powerful men backing him....and then expect him to jump for you and run into your arms because you are shouting about some money that will still be on the table anyway
that 100 mil can still be made by wilder...maybe even more
I know some people here think AJ is beyond reproach and bulletproof...but trust me...if he isn't willing to come to the table to fight wilder without the demand that wilder signs a tv contract with his company than he will feel the heat
people will scream "100 million 100 million 100 million omg yer an idiot".....remember who backs wilder.... smart men who know value and have been involved in some of the biggest fights in boxing......if they turn it down its because they see more potential for this fight if its down without this app and flat money...... its not because they are worried....if they were worried they wouldn't have said "send us a contract for 2018 and well fight in the UK for 12.5"......wilders team aren't worried...they just know better than a bunch of internet twats who hear "100 million" and think that's the best that can be had.....
So sounds like their were two offers from dazn; both turned down.
Option 1:
$20m Brezeale
$40m Joshua
$60m or $30m Joshua rematch (depending if won)
Option 2:
$20m Brezeale
$30m no-Joshua fight , probably Whyte but tbc.
From the outset wilder has destroyed the fight
Demanding unrealistic splits
In light of the current offers and environment, it's stupid to call the splits they were seeking "unrealistic". Whatever happened to "Wilder should take the 12.5 mil ... his biggest payday" BS?? You fan-girls were wrong then, and wrong now. Just cheerleaders ... that AJ doesn't need or want (that's why he said 'go train and fight Wilder yourself' to his fan(girls).
REAL boxing fans like and respect both men. They've earned it.
Deontay Wilder in all honesty wanted the Tyson Fury rematch more than fighting Anthony Joshua. Neither Tyson Fury or Deontay Wilder are that confident in fighting Anthony Joshua.
Pretty basically, this is where we're at.
Neither of those guys are going to fight Joshua. They have a common interest in creating propaganda which makes them look like they want it but oh well, it just won't happen.
When a guy actually wants it, like Miller, or Povetkin, or whoever, it is easy to make a fight work.
These guys don't want it, and will duck. In Wilder's case, his excuses are becoming more and more bizarre, like a Trump Presidency: what was once 'normal' is becoming more and more surreal. It's quite strange.
I do think Fury will take an AJ fight, but not in the near future.
He will have some soft touches first, win those, and he will take the AJ payday.
Wilder will never take it, it would be great for boxing fans and justice in general if he lost to Breazeale, or whoever he fights after that. He has no shame.
Deontay Wilder in all honesty wanted the Tyson Fury rematch more than fighting Anthony Joshua. Neither Tyson Fury or Deontay Wilder are that confident in fighting Anthony Joshua.
in summary
you don't jerk around wilder and his team...and think theyre gonna come running to you into your arms....they know they can still get this fight done without having to sign with DAZN
its like when Floyd said "I aint chasing him..im not worried"..and pac fans somehow turned that into "see hes scared"....he wasn't...he was tired of dealing with bob...bob wasn't serious...and they knew it...so they stopped caring
wilders team has reached a similar stage with hearn...maybe somehow if hearn is removed it can get done....that move though says it all...tells you all you need to know "meeting with skipper without the presence of eddie hearn".......hearn being removed from the situation tells you all you need to know about the root of it...the problem
hopefully they can get something done after june 1st....just because wilder doesn't sign the DAZN deal doesn't mean it cant happen
Your 'summary' is 4 paragraphs long and is an addendum to a 'War And Peace' length post which is at best the effort of a full time troll and worse could be indicative of a delusional imbecile who really believes what they're saying.
You're not well mate. Get some help.
If anything Finkel (or whoever is whispering in Wilder's ear) is the Arum in this situation. The $50m offer was a nice PR stunt and seems to have succeeded in duping the nationalist Wilder fans for now, but he always squirms away when Joshua's people make legit overtures because he knows that simply perpetuating this narrative that Joshua doesn't want to face his guy will keep their profile rising and allow them to print money for a while against less dangerous opponents
think about it realistically though
if DAZN does a 50/50 fight with AJ/wilder and AJ loses....then what?
if pbc does a 50/50 and wilder loses what do they really lose? not much...and they just made some good money having half of that fight
DAZN is desperate to have 100 percent rights to that fight....so if AJ loses it softens the blow....if AJ were to lose a fight that they split with wilders side it would be a big blow after all the money theve invested in AJ
wilders people know this...they aren't going to jump into their arms....DAZN cant really afford to have AJ lose unless they own 100 percent of the fight....wilders side isn't just gonna give into them and give them exactly what they need/want
I've seen numerous posts about DAZN needing rights on Wilder to protect their investment... it's ludicrous.
DAZN are owned and backed by Sir Len Blavatnik who is worth $21 billion. The amount of money he'd lose from Joshua being a bust is literal pennies to the guy.
If Haymon and Finkel had any faith in Wilder beating Joshua they would of urged him to take that 3 fight deal. Bad luck for Showtime and Espinoza but Wilders advisors and managers will get a nice cut of all that money and Wilder would beat Joshua twice and walk away from him, Hearn and DAZN with a hell of alot of money and all the world titles. Then he can fight on Showtime PPV as Undisputed.
But if they didnt have faith in their fighter they would tell him to walk away from the DAZN offer and fighting Anthony Joshua or becoming Undisputed to instead fight for much less money on Showtime and not be add to any legacy. Which is exactly what they are doing and exactly explains the really weak 40+ fight resume. Hes a protected fighter who has been risked twice in his career and needed help in both those fights and now they dont want to face Anthony Joshua.
Kurt is just talking a load of old bollocks cuz hes a massive Wilder rider.
Until wilder is confirmed to have turned down the deal I’ll give him the benefit of the doubt. If and when that is confirmed I don’t think there is anybody who will have a valid argument to suggest wilder really wants to fight AJ
Okay. Well, AJ could close out his career fighting Whyte II, Fury and Usyk, amongst a few others. Throw in Dubois, Joyce and Hrgovic. He will make a few hundred million and retire with an impeccable resume, and no doubts that he was one of, if not the best in his era. No matter what anyone says, Wilder cannot do the same. Wilder will never make twenty million fighting a Miller or a Povetkin. You have to accept these fighters are in different stratospheres. Wilder is nowhere near AJ when it comes to market value and the only way he ever will be is by beating AJ. So the only logical path is taking the deal. Fighting Breazeale and Kownacki on Showtime is a road to nowhere.
I am honestly in awe that there are still people here trying to defend team Wilder if they don't take this offer from DAZN. Wilder and his people seem to live in Bizarro world.
I am going to post before reading the OP. I have never seen this poster posting anything other than hate for British fighters. I will be very, very surprised if this is anything other than nationalistic, biased, DKSAB drivel. Now, I will read the post.

Haymon/floyd didnt break up berto/mosely. Berto dropped out because the huge hurricane that hit his island killing members of his family.
Unless you're saying floyd got haymon to use his weather controlling machine to cause the hurricane that hit Haiti, then yeah that I can believe.
plain and simple
DAZN=100 percent of the fight they are happy and virtually risk averted
50-50 fight=AJ loses and DAZN watched 200 mil investment in AJ go down the drain
50-50 fight=wilder loses and the pbc doesn't lose much and they move on
its simple math boys...DAZN is desperate to have 100 percent rights to the fight....and the desperation is smelled by team wilder
You don’t understand their model, you think you do but you don’t judging by your posts
Dazn make their money on subscriptions and advertising, their plan is to get the best boxers from all demographics to increase their count. To also increase it they would want the best fighting the best, aj is on a fight by fight deal by dazn and they have not invested too much yet compared to say canelo
It doesn’t matter to them if aj loses as all they care about is the monthly suscriptions and getting the best boxers. If they have most of the best and put on good fights, their members will increase, their their plan. It’s obvious
You are just making excuses for wilder ducking aj and have made this fantasy on your mind as an excuse for wilder

oh ok sorry i wasnt doing that before. now ill be realistic like you
All you wilder fans do is make excuses for him to not fight aj
That’s all, locked into a tv deal ? It’s only a 3 fight deal and it’s for stupid money
Wilder will make less than what dazn offers
Just like him making 7m for fury and turning down 10m for Whyte and 15m for aj
Wilder will lose soon and be finished, his team has cost him 20m at least in earnings so far
Make that 120m actually

oh is that what happened lol. so floyd changed his demands when pac was in his prime and only offered him 40 million no ppv but after pac got knocked out and his star was starting to fade he offered him a 45-55 split. that makes perfect :banghead::banghead::banghead:
it does make perfect sense....pacs star was starting to decline after jmm knocked him out
he still got a good deal and made out...but arum was only willing after seeing pacs cloak of invincibility shattered....
its funny...there are articles about arums 99 different quotes/excuses and even fat dan blamed arum...yet youre in denial...fat dan was even one of the bigger manny cheerleaders....but I guess you know more lol...im sure you have a bunch of insiders and tipsters in the boxing world huh?! LOL
