GREAT NEWS... boxing scene website is recognising the IBO on their ‘champions’ page. This will be become clearer for the fans and better for boxing as more people can become champions, kind of like sharing.
17 weight classes X 4 belts = 68 normal champs excluding the gold, silver, international, regional, diamond, emeterius, regular, super, interim etc
Now it is even better...
17 x 5 belts = 85 champions!!!
5 is basically done, lock it in!!
I think we should aim for 3 figures. We need potentially 100 different people calling themselves champions of the world (excluding the silver, regular etc)
17 x 6 = 102
I think we should join together for greed and profit...sorry, i mean the good of boxing and welcome with open arms number 6 sanctioning body.
My question is this: Who should come next???
UBF (universal boxing union)?
WBU (world boxing union)?
WBFed (world boxing federation)?
WBF (world boxing foundation)?
GBC (global boxing council)?
WPBF (world professional boxing federation)?
GBF (global boxing federation)?
NBA (national boxing association)?
UBC (universal boxing council)?
NABC (north American boxing council)?
UBA (universal boxing association)?
IBA (international boxing association)?
UBF (universal boxing federation)?
IBC (international boxing council)?
UBO (universal boxing organization)?
GBO (global boxing organization)?
WPBF (world professional boxing federation)?
IBU (international boxing union)?
Have you been under a rock? The IBO has been a part of the champions page for YEARS.
Apologies for my ignorance, i guess us so called hardcores need not look in that section very often.
I have a couple questions for you and would genuinely appreciate an answer.
1. For the long term benefit of the sport, do you think the ibo should be recognized by the media and the other sanctioning bodies?
2. Do you think boxingscene should disclose their relationship to the ibo when publishing articles relating to them?
Good. I find it weird that it can be fought for, the belt held up yet people pretend it doesnt exist. I know it isnt part of the big 4 but maybe we need a big 5, in all honesty i wouldnt bother if they ceased to exist but seeing as it does exist we may as well recognize it.
As ive asked people on these forums before if the IBO isnt a world title then what the hell is it? The answer is it IS, they may not want to recognize it, they may want to **** on it, but it is what it is and what it is is a world title.

Will Golovkin on his return fight for the Middleweight IBO Strap for Good old time sake?!
will the IBO mafia go after him?
Golovkin was weak, stupid or ill informed for not tossing the ibo belt in the trash. He had that crap in his head about all the belts, but any boxer who holds the ibo should get critiscism from fans. Hurd and Joshua should get it now. I think Canelo threw it in the bin? Respect to him if he has.
Also, i can’t find any other boxing website that called Eubanks vs Degeale a world title fight, so respect to them. If you only read this website, NOBODY else was calling this a world title fight (there is a god).

Seconds out article: “Eubank came up short against George Groves, losing his worthless IBO title.”
That’s poetry right there.
There is only ONE which is propaganda:
