Tyson Fury laid down a challenge to his rivals on Monday after signing a multi-year, multi-fight agreement with United States broadcaster ESPN which the British heavyweight was adamant made a world title rematch with Deontay Wilder "more makeable now than ever". Click Here To Read More]
:lol1::lol1: Warren constantly talks out of both sides of his ass at the same time. Now that he's courting Whyte he's making it sound like Matchroom ****ed him when he was bashing that fight when it looked like it was going to happen and the ****er hyped up bums like Seferi and Pianeta and now says those were just easy come back fights (which they obviously were) but now there will be a different standard. LMAO, most full of **** promoter in the game, somebody ask him about scheduling cards on the same day in the UK again after he went ape**** on the Warrington/Frampton and Whyte/Chisora cards being on the same day. Who's the one that got that rule changed anyways Frank? What are your plans for March 23rd, fishsticks? :lol1:
Floyd fought in the US for a decade prior to becoming the face of boxing. And he also had black America to help push his numbers up. Not the case with Fury.
Ever heard of the great white hope?
They said the same about FMJ...

They do have more reach no question but as I said earlier Fury isn’t the most exciting fighter out there. He’s got to be carefully match up or he will stink up the joint.

I'm with Pan - Africanist . Aside from Wilder / Fury and Fury / Cunningham I can't remember one Fury fight that had some Excitement in it .
Maybe the first bout against Chisora but possibly not as I’ve never had any desire to watch it again. Fury is a borefest.

Yeah, Fury vs Pulev for example would be a complete borefest.
The most Charismatic fighter currently in boxing! Fury is very marketable with a great backstory ESPN can probably make a Full 30/30 Episode about

It don't matter, some say Mayweather wasn't exciting in the ring but that Personality and ability to push people buttons got them to buy his fights every time :dunno:
We’ll see how it plays out
Wilder needs to push a purse bid now that this has happened. ESPN just gave up 100mil so they won't have funds to pony up for this fight. DAZN just got AJ's supposed 32mil so they won't have it either. PBC should win out, he get's to dictate location and if Fury doesn't like it, then sadly no rematch. ESPN needs Wilder to make a profit on this deal. AJ wouldn't sell US ppv and no one else would really.
Also, SHO needs to be ready with Wilder's deal
Wasn’t Warren critical of the Whyte fight when it was in play and now he’s criticising the Whyte fight not happening..
I think its mutually exclusive. You can criticize the opponent from a competitive perspective and then criticize the negotiations from a business perspective. Both sucked.
All true but in the ring he’s not all that exciting.

Nah, he's been in a lot of exciting fights.
Wilder fights was fun at times and the Cunningham fight was good after that I’m struggling to think of a fury fight I’d watch again
Wlad fury was painful
Not hard to figure out there. ESPN has better reach than show and dazn, combined. He beat Wilder, and has all eyes on him.

I get the feeling that there are plenty of people who hasn't seen many Fury fights prior to Wilder.
Ever watched his very impressive win against Chisora? A dominant, perfect, mature performance. But like watching paint dry.
Nah, he's been in a lot of exciting fights.
What does ESPN get out of the deal? Tyson’s UK rights go to BT Sport so what’s the upside? Plus Tyson has been known to stink up the joint unless you get the right fighter in there. I must be missing something.
