Broner is going to take a soft touch fight next then he will take a fight that everyone thinks he has no chance in winning and one way or the other you will tune in.
I was at the weigh in and at the fight but love him or hate him broner brings out passion from people good or bad.
Say what you want about him but he does fight good competition and does not duck fighters. I can see broner getting a Danny Garcia or a Thurman fight in his near future. All the top guys will want to fight him because he is seen as beatable with a name.
so until he gets KTFO broner will still be around getting good money.
Definitely not finished, he's still AB.. Hasn't got his "0" but isn't he like 29 now? Which means he still has another 6/7 years to be a champion/journeyman/gatekeeper/contender etc
I would say Mikey somewhat neutralized broner but broner just didnt throw enough . And manny just out worked him kept the pressure on him. When broner opened up on manny he looked spectacular but that to few and far between.
In all of broners losses besides the maidana fight if he could keep up a solid work rate he could have easily gotten a draw or even won those fights.
But the cheat code is allready out on broner and it’s not hard to do either.
No he really couldn't...he is not skilled enough to beat these guys, it's obvious. Landing 1 or 2 good shots doesn't mean that you can do it for an entire fight. Broner has a big problem combining his defense with his offense, most of the time he is doing the one or the other. How come he only doesn't throw enough punches everytime he steps up but throws plenty when he is fighting lesser comp ? Its because these guys have figured him out. Broner can be easily feinted, put out of position, pressure gets to him, when Broner throws he stays on the line too much so he is there to be hit. He really just isn't that good man, learn to accept it. I'm getting tired of this dumbass **** "Broner needs to throw more" "if he just let his hands go".If he did let his hands go more he could've gotten a bad beating and maybe even a KO loss on his record, he doesn't want that.
Nah it's more than 'just not throwing enough'...he got outclassed vs Mikey and Pacquiao, he is just not on their level. They knew exactly how to neutralize Broner

He isn't finished. He just is what he is.
He's a solid B level fighter that struggles beyond that and loses. If people just get realistic about his actual level, then he can still do well around that level.
It's not like he's going to get any better either. He'll be a gatekeeper in a couple of years.
I think some of his fans are starting to realize what a lot of people have realized for a long time. He is athletic, thats it.
He doesn't have any boxing ability, ring iq, work ethic, ability to adapt in the ring.
He is the anti-floyd.
Who can he beat that matters? He hasn't won a meaningful fight ever. Look at boxrec and laugh along with me. A bully weight and network hype. That's it. All he ever was. Now he's gunshy.
I agree.
But he would help himself out, if he really lived the life like Floyd Mayweather. Just for the reaming few years of his career, how hard is it? Other athletes do it in other sports. Boxers seriously need to sort their mindsets out, and live like Olympic athletes.
I was just watching Adrien Broner vs Shawn Porter, and Broner performed well in that fight and looked very strong physically.
Like Aaron Pryor, he needs to go to 140 and STAY at 140! The different is Pryor wisely went back down to 140 after suffering 1 Defeat at 147. Broner is in denial I guess or maybe because he can make more money at 147 but looking at his career at 147: Malignaggi, Maidana, Porter, Granados, Vargas, Pacquiao that is actually a strong Resume but the only problem is that he is 2-3-1 as a Welterweight and those 2 Wins are Controversial over Paulie and Granados
Yes he will still continue to be a Main Event and make big money and draw ratings absolutely but he does need to go down and take 2 Winnable fights at 140 while waiting for a shot at maybe the WBSS 140 Winner (if it doesn't get canceled). Broner vs Prograis, Broner vs Josh Taylor over in the UK, Broner vs Jose Ramirez. Broner is a BIG FIGHT and Big Payday for all of those guys!
Also like some else said it’s not like broner is getting pulverized he just not throwing enough and is getting out worked.

We're slowly transitioning to an age where social media impact has a presence on contracts and opportunities. Similar to the fashion world where all these 'supermodels' are mostly given victoria secret spots because they have 10mm followers.
A reality show wouldn't be a bad idea for him to earn some cash. But that would almost definitely cost him his freedom. When Broner is trying to impress people out of the ring, he is bad at it.

I agree. Seldom do we see someone change that around if they've done it for a few fights though. It happens, but rarely.
He's the Zab Judah of this generation.
His beatdowns haven't even been entertaining or interesting since Maidana anyhow. I really don't care to see him at the elite level again but against B level guys he can make some interesting fights.
I'd rank Zab above this dude. It's actually disrespectful to Zab to mention this guy in the same sentence
He's become a harder sell. But due to his name, he'll get some good "B side" offers. He won't win any of them though. It's downhill career and money wise for him. And head trauma does add up.

The only reason he isn't finished is because he's popular. Take that away, and he wouldn't be getting any big fights in the future.
But you're right. He'll get some wins over a few top 15/20 guys, talk a bunch of sh.t, and fight Amir Khan for another pay day.
Thing is, broner seems to be transitioning more into instagram personality territory. Boxing is his platform, just look at how many videos were made on social media regarding his post fight interview. In this generation you don't have to be good at what you do, as long as you have catchy content for the ADHD riddled viewers you're good and AB realises this.
