Spence would be labeled Jeff Lacy 2.0 & the bandwagon would jump off REAL quick.I am a big Spence fan partly because I think he is the best welterweight in the world. Spence is 28 and in his prime. If he can't beat Mikey I would still wish him well but yes I would jump off the bandwagon. My top favorite boxers are all very good and I expect them to do what they are supposed to do. I know Mikey and what he can do and I know Spence and what he can do. Spence is supposed to KO Mikey and I am confident Spence wins every round and stops Mikey in 6 rounds or less. MAN DOWN!
It'll be an upset but not that huge, to me. They are both good and solid B fighters (until proven otherwise). The more I think about it the more I give Mikey a chance (right now at 35-40%).
It wouldn't matter to me either way because I'm a fan of both.
May the better, stronger fighter win!
Topic?????? the biggest since douglass/tyson? the biggest ever??????Hell no. It would be an upset but not a huge one. Spence is a 4 to 1 betting favorite to win while Tyson was about a 100 to 1 betting favorite to win. Big difference. Thurman losing to Lopez or Andrade losing to his latest cherry pick would be bigger upsets than Spence losing to Mikey. Spence will knock Mikey out though. MAN DOWN!
Spence's name might lose a little bit of stock when it comes to negotiations and future fights if he does lose.
a little bit????????lol come on now alot of bit......
Topic?????? the biggest since douglass/tyson? the biggest ever??????
most punters may think it would be a huge upset, but I would not be surprised at all
Big enough that Spence would be branded a hypejob. Not saying I would call him that, but it's pretty obvious to be that boxing fans would mostly dismiss him after losing to a small guy like Garcia. Spence is a WW destined for JMW, Mikey recently had fights at 135 and it's the only weight where he doesn't look doughy. Spence isn't supposed to lose this or even struggle.
