WHOAAHHHH Slow down Deontay i cant keep up with all the other people and things you are blaming. If the commentary was biased then everybody was, nearly literally everybody. It seems the only people who are right are you and your managers, even the LDBC crackpots are calling it a draw. Well some of them.
I thought the commentating was biased, but, they weren't that far off from reality. I thought Wilder was going to win, and think he might get the KO win in the rematch, but I think he was fortunate to get the draw this time around.
I saw the fight like this. In at least 8 of the 12 rounds, Fury was the ring General. He controlled the action, the pace and momentum. Wilder was missing so badly so often, that even if he was close on the amount of punches landed, that it was Fury controlling the fight. It really was not hard to score.
Paulie is annoying as hell when talking about Manny or McGregor, but calling fights he's fair.
If he was to show bias, it would be to the Showtime guy, but the reality is he called the fight how almost everyone else did.
That clip of him not interested in talking over the KD's because he thought they should be talking about the scorecards was refreshing to see.
As fans we are always calling for commentary that's unbiased. We got it in this fight.
Nobody is implying fury should have won as he out landed Wilder 5 punches to 1. Fury w on the story of the fight.
That's why it's a robbery as fury should have won. It's not about opinion. Nobody should conclude a draw was fair. Fury won story of fight. That's not an opinion. It's fact.
you are entitled to your opinion and if you think fury won and was robbed then that's cool, I personally agree with the draw or fury by close decision but the last knockdown made it a draw.
LOL, like it has been mentioned Paulie is about as unbiased as you can get. I watched the fight live on the BT Sports broadcast , the next day on Showtime they were interchangeable all had Fury dominating as most fans including myself did.
the commentary had me thinking fury won a one sided fight, but after re watching the fight with no sound, it was close.... wilder did things I didn't see and fury landed less than I thought. there was no huge robbery as paulie was saying but hes still one of the best at what he does!

paulie is usually pretty good
but believe it or not i just rewatched last night without sound on...and i agree....i saw wilder landing some stuff that you didnt hear the commentary team react to....and some of the stuff they acted like was amazing from fury? it didnt do much
i didnt see wilder land many good head shots...but fury had like 3-4 marks on his face and a bloody nose from what i did see him land
i think when paulie looks at wilder he sees the antithesis of himself.....wilder has power....cant box....and hes pulling for the more pure boxer....alot of guys have a hard time understanding how wilder is successful
They were. There was a lot of anti-Deontay Wilder bias throughout that telecast; Especially from Paulie Malignaggi who acted as if though he had a horse in the race somewhere.
Wilder is the PBC/Showtime fighter, why would they be biased against him? Truth is, he got exposed for the hype job that he is because he looked mediocre against another hype job. This guy will never earn anyone's respect.
being honest i think wilder may not ever be the same after that fight. hes coming across as mentally broken and cant process what happened
Reminded me of Kovalev after the first Ward fight. He started to doubt himself just like Wilder is

Yeah..
Paulie is always fair, in UK or USA. When he was on the Sky team for Usyk v Bellew, he basically told the Sky team inbetween a round that they shouldn't be looking for any excuse to give Bellew the round, because they were. He was working for Sky, getting paid by them as he often does, he could've just gone along with them to please them but he didn't.
Paulie always speaks his mind. I don't think he's biased. You might not always agree, but i don't think he has any agenda in his commentary.
Agreed, Paulie is the best at what he does. I'm a big Richie Woodhall fan as well.
I don't get what Wilder was expecting to be said. I mean if they thought you lost, that's what they think. You don't get the benefit of doubt just because you are the home fighter here. That's not how it works.
And what would the reason be for them to be biased towards Fury anyways? Like what do they gain there? If he wins, he's not even guaranteed to fight on SHO again as Warren has a deal with ESPN+.
Yeah..

Paulie always been fair. The only time he loses his mind is when Pac gets brought up.
Bingo! And want to know how the commentary was actually good? The networks "home" fighter is complaining about it. Usually it is the other way around. SHO have by far the fairest and best commentary team out there. I didn't see them being unfair to him at all. Maybe they didn't give him the benefit of doubt in a close round or two, but why should they be expected to do that? Farhood is going to score the fight how he sees it.
Yeah..

Biased because they didn't give him credit for his wild, windmilling punches that hit nothing but air or shoulders for 9 out of 12 rounds, while Fury landed clean jabs and right hands? That WBC belt is nothing more than a participation trophy at this point because nobody rational had him earning a draw, much less winning that fight. Never seen so many excuses from a dude who thinks he "won" a fight before. What's next, Deontay? You had on the wrong socks? Or maybe it was leg cramps? ;-)
