So Hearn in a recent interview said he's talked with Top Rank but really isn't involved in the talks because he doesn't want that fight for Amir, he wants to make the Brook fight. So did Khan and his team just go to Top Rank directly or what? Or did TR reach out to Khan's team directly like they did with Angel Garcia? And I believe Khan only signed a three fight deal with Hearn right? After his next fight he will be a free agent? Could be now or never for the Brook fight as Hearn has alluded to.
For sure it’s quite likely khan doesn’t re sign for matchroom. He seems unwilling to take on the kell brook fight, most likely because he doesn’t back himself to win. He doesn’t kind Crawford or bigger challenges because he is already the underdog.
I’m surprised so many people keep tuning in to watch him to be honest though , he has a surprising following given the way he behaves in general
Top Rank is negotiating directly with Khan's lawyer per Fat Dan.
I'm glad he at least got a lawyer in on it as Bob would have some fine print stating he is getting a purse of 5 million Jamaican Dollars.
In case anyone was wondering
1 Jamaican Dollar equals
0.0079 United States Dollar

No I dont think so. Top rank is offering them a higher guarantee than both wilder and fury. Also it was reported that a third party reached out.
Wilder/Fury's guarantees were more than double the reported purse from the commission. That's not it.
No, I highly doubt PBC did this for Khan. He was actually the one that handled the Canelo negotiations himself before presenting it to Haymon. Khan has some smart people around him, they could handle this on their own. I'm guessing TR reached out to Khan's team directly and that's how this went down. And then he told Hearn who said he has talked to TR but isn't really involved in the negotiations.
No, highly doubt that. Khan and his team have always done things themselves for the most part.

I wouldnt say its Amir Khan by himself I'd be willing to bet he has the pbc team behind him

Absolutely blows my mind that Khan still has negotiating power in 2018. I can't think of another fighter who has had his ass handed to him for so long and is somehow still relevant.
While Broner doesn't get "his ass handed to him", he usually loses his "big" fights but just like Khan, he manages to always get another "big fight".

Hearn invested in Khan. Payed him good money to fight tuneup’s building up to a Brooks fight. Khans deal with Hearn is only a 3 fight deal. Now that their ready to cash out Khan pulls this ****. If I was Hearn I’d have Khan whacked.
Eddie is NOT part of Negotiations, Arum Confirms that in a Interview with Tha Boxing Voice. Arum said a 3rd Party reached out to him and Top Rank about the Crawford Fight. Wouldn't say who the 3rd Party was though.
They are offering Khan 5 million bucks to fight Crawford for a world title. That's a damn good offer and Khan should quit stalling and just say yes and sign the contract. Khan almost certainly loses to Crawford and he probably loses to Brook. If Khan does win either fight a win over Crawford is a much bigger win and makes him a champion and puts him on some pfp top 10 lists. A win over Brook does neither of these things.
Khan loses to Crawford and gets $5m.
Khan then loses to Brook and gets $10m.
Retires with a career earning of $50m+
Not bad.
Hearn doesn’t hold promotional rights to khan in the US, that’s why he’s not involved and desperate for him to fight brook. Dan Rafael and Keith Idec have said this and that it is being negotiated through khans lawyer as a result
