What you think about them being fined by the WBC and their excuse?
"Unacceptable and literally Bullshyt. There behavior have been conducive to utilizing steroids that make you aggressive then boy if those 2 peanuts aren't aggressive I don't know who is. For them to not to take the tests and say they were on a tour and they missed it is just ridiculous. Of course they should be fined they should actually be pulled out the rankings for that."
"There is enough evidence that says these kids are doing something they shouldn't be doing. My thing is If they don't want to test they shouldn't fight."
rozier is spot on. nobody buys that out of town non sense. these guys are definitely on something. They need to be punished but the corrupt wbc won't do jack because they are complicit.
Don't know the details so I'm just kind of talking out my ass but I think it was a scheduled drug test, not a random drug test, just based off that Rozier interview.. but I really don't know. Honestly I wouldn't be surprised if they did their "random" drug tests like that, it's boxing ahah
Robert Garcia recently commented about this fyi also saying the Charlo's excuse is bullshyt. He said all the fighters are told they have to keep their location and schedule updated with VADA at all times. But he gave some additional info on exactly what happens and gave an example of a time when one of his fighters was not being at the gym the day they came for the random test because Robert gave him the rest of the day off so the fighter was at home instead of the gym. They called the fighter and asked where are you have 2 options either be back at this gym by X time today or tell me your exact location and I'll meet you there. And that's what his fighter did. That might be what Rozier is talking about where the drug test came and called the fighter and said you better be back here by this time today for your test.
Thats a weird ass way to do a random drug test. I'd argue thats not even a random drug test. Thats just a drug test & I could probably pass that with a 24 hours heads up & a tummy full of edibles upon the heads up.
If thats how they are doing their random drug testing I don't really see a point in it. Its an IQ test not a drug test.
But w/e if that is how they do things & something bigger comes along with a thinner time table to handle like promotional sh^t then yea f#ck that IQ test too I'd say. This seems like a lesser problem then I thought if this is how its all operating.

I don't like accusing but is in that pic is he still in the same weight class?
Yup. In 2012 both Charlo's were still at 154. Here is some more pics I found of both of them early their career all at 154.

They used to be some skinny bird chested motherphukers lol
that's significant. so is the light, if he's flexing, if it was before or after the fight, etc. but forget all that, he looks like a different person. is that jermell or jermall? tough to tell from that angle and how young he is
Not sure which one those phukers are hard to tell apart lol
Or I'd say let them all juice! Are you a fan of Canelo, by the way? Do you still watch him? I do.
I'm a fan of Jermall but still not sold him, until I see him deal with a slick mover. Let's say like Billy Joe Saunders. Not sure Jermall wins this one.
That would def solve all issues regarding ped's but I don't know if it's in the fighters health best interest. Yeah I'm a big canelo fan. Canelo is enrolled into vada 365 and have hair samples too. Charlos have not done either of those things. But i agree, a slick boxer gives any one any night trouble.
this pic is now circulating on social media I don't like calling them a steroid user that's way too far for me but the before and after is shocking.

Looks like the pic on the left was from a fight in June 2012. So 6 years ago, he was 22.

incredible. putting on that kind of muscle when you box and make weight is all but impossible. what worries me is how he's got myscles on top of his muscles, you know what i mean? you can build your skeletal muscles in your extremities, chest and back, even core, but the neck? the face? literally the face? makes you wonder.
your build is pretty much god given in this sport, it really is. here he is looking like a different person. and skipping drug tests!
which one is that?
and how old was he in the first picture?

the big charlo was also one of the biggest jr MW i have ever seen. a lot of guys use drugs to get an advantage in size like that. i really don't think there's a clean fighter who has gained 20 Lbs in 30 hours and fought a world class boxing. i truly don't.

If the charlos' don't enroll in vada 365, I don't want to watch them fight.

What i will say is they suddenly became power punchers out of nowhere

WBC hasn't released any additional info on whether they have been tested since or how long after. Just a press release that they were issuing fines to Charlo's and sent a letter to all WBC fighters that starting Jan 2019 they are changing their rules for missed tests which could result in heavier fines, loss of ranking and suspension. Right now it looks like a huge loop hole in drug testing. Just don't show up to the door, give false location info and don't take the tests. Better a missed test then a failed test the WBC only came out and said they would fine them after the story leaked and was reported. If not for the story they dont do a damn thing. WBC and Charlo's haven't even responded to questions asking if this the first missed test or has there been others in their careers.
Damn, not a good look.
Every missed drug test is bullshít ... if you are going to be agains using PEDs in boxing then the fighters do not deserve the "benefit of the doubt", all of the rules are clearly laid out for them from the get go. No excuses for missed and failed tests -- should be automatic suspension.
WBC proving that their Clean Drug Testing program is a joke. A slap on the wrist fine nothing more but a promise that next year they will be trying to close this loop hole with even bigger penalties next year.

WBC Clean Boxing Program whereabouts urgent advisory
Every single fighter who is enrolled in the WBC Clean Boxing Program is responsible for his acts. Trainers, managers and promoters must be aware of, and participate directly in the CBP compliance in support of the fighters they represent.
I have seen with deep concern the so many criticisms against WBC champion Jermel Charlo and interim champion Jermall Charlo regarding their missed tests.
It is important for the WBC to clarify that both Charlos have been tested in the past and that the infraction they are facing is a missed test, which has been acknowledged and they will be responsible to pay the corresponding fine. It is important, however, to clarify that they have not tested positive for any substance whatsoever.
This is why it is extremely urgent for all boxers to enroll in the CBP and to update at all times their residence and training location to VADA, which is the agency administrating the CBP for the WBC.
It is very simple, if you are chosen for testing and are not available for the collector to test you, you will be incurring a missed test penalty.
It is of extreme importance that every fighter updates their whereabouts forms with VADA at all times.
What do you need to do?
IMMEDIATELY contact VADA at
Margaret@VADA-testing.org with residence & training addresses as well as current cell phone #.
You may also submit an updated CBP form and email to Margaret@VADA-testing.org

FINAL NOTICE: Effective January 1, 2019 missed tests will be enforced with a much stronger protocol, which means that monetary fines will be higher and fighters missing tests will be subjected to possible additional penalties, which include rejection of enrollment in the program and loss of WBC ranking.
The WBC is committed to clean boxing and to keep our boxers safe. We are extremely proud of every single boxer enrolled in CBP.
Being a CBP enrolled fighter demonstrates your commitment to clean sport. The WBC proudly promotes the names of tested fighters. Do NOT become a headline for missing your test!
