Top Rank will feed him cab drivers for the next 4 years before Munguia realizes he made a mistake, then goes back to Golden Boy. He'll also get paid, remain undefeated while receiving a lot of hype. Signing with TR almost ensures security for a fighter.

Mungia never a GBP fighter in the first place. They only got options on him because he mauled one of GBP's boys, Sadam.

Munguia is huge his days are numbered at 154 maybe a couple fights then he will be at 160 and DAZN is where the money is at.

He isn't leaving GB, he was never with GB. GB got options on him after he beat Ali. Same with Berchelt after he beat Vargas. He's done with his fights and going back to his main promoter who happens to have a good relationship Top Rank. Top Rank and ESPN have been featuring Zanfer fighters as of late just like Berchelt/Roman this weekend.

Great for the boxers to have the option of DAZN, ESPN/ESPN+, Showtime and Fox but awful for the fans and it will keep a lot of match ups from happening that we all want to see. I want Hurd vs Munguia more than I do Hurd vs Charlo but I doubt it ever happens regardless if he stays with GBP or goes to Top Rank and that is very bad for the sport Arum doesn't have ANYTHING for him at 154 or 160, WTF is he going to do fight Carlos Adames and Murata 2 times each for the duration of his career?
