The WBC has ordered this fight to determine the mandatory for Canelo, who will have to face the winner next.
Do you think GGG will go through with this fight or will he choose an easier opponent?
Ggg team has already said no charlo. They wouldn't have said no if they thought charlo would duck. Loeffler is way too smart for that. He got all the ggg stans to believe the hype.
Tom Loeffler says that Charlo “doesn’t make sense,” adding, “that’s not going to happen.”

Not only did the WBC mandate Charlo but also the fans are interested in that fight as it would be between two of the best.
And it's certainly one of the few money fights available for Golovkin right now.
What good reason is there for Charlo not to be next?
I would love to see Golovkin vs. Charlo. I’d love to see a lot of good fights.
That said I realize the hardcore community seldom gets what they want.
I don’t see Charlo bringing in more money to the fight than several other fighters who I think are likely lesser opponents.
Said this a few times why does anyone think his only option is Charlo? Because one organization mandated it?
Canelo nor DLH have said a word that Golovkin needs to fight Charlo first.

Of course they can fight against each other. It'll be without the WBC belt tho.
Don't know about the WBA tho.
GGG-Charlo is a PPV and does a little more than GGG-Jacobs because GGG has a bigger name than he did 18 months ago.
No he isn’t doing anymore PPVs IMO. I like Golovkin but he doesn’t have significant enough drawing power without another star to warrant a PPV.
Let's see if he doesn't find a way out of it.

Plan A for ducking Charlo just went up in flames (bum Murata). Still no chance he takes the Charlo fight watch Loeffler looking in trash cans left and right to pull another bum tomato can out of a hat for GGG.
I'll withhold judgement on whether or not he is taking the easy path until he picks his next opponent.
But certainly Charlo has to be considered as one of the bigger names and bigger money fights available to him now.
Certainly now... its possible an Andrade fight might be worth more if it goes with a Dazn multi-fight deal but Charlo would be higher profile and is certainly the one more in demand by boxing fans. The Jacobs fight (if Danny wins) would probably be bigger than either although one would have to fancy Danny's chances now.
When ggg ducks charlo, whats the next excuse guys?
I can see ggg team paying brant whatever he wants for the belt so they can justify ducking charlo (ggg will say he wants to fight for a belt).
You gonna say Golovkins choosing the 'easy' path if he has to fight Jacobs over the less proven MW Charlo? Course if he doesn't fight either Charlo, Jacobs or Andrade and stays at 160 it'll be a bit of a let down.

It's looking like GGG has no choice but to fight Charlo now.
I don't think Brant would want to fight Glovkin for his first title defense.
The biggest question is would Charlo fight this monster?
Haven't seen him recently mention the potential of fighting the Kazakhstan superstar next.
He's been quiet. I wonder why.
Murata just lost so he should no longer be an option.
Saunders is going to be suspended for 6 months by the WBO.
The Charlo fight has been mandated by the WBC. It should happen next.
Well yeah, now it should but the reality is he doesn't need to fight Charlo to get to Canelo. He can go to DAZN now and fight Andrade for his title then get Canelo or he can just go and fight Canelo. You really think the WBC is gonna strip Canelo? Worse case is they don't put that belt up for grabs and that's a long shot cause guess what, they wont get sanctioning tees from GGG side for the fight.
My guess Is they fight again in spring and Charlo takes a payoff then gets his shot late next year or early 2020.
I think that given he was looking at Murata next it should be pretty clear everyone that he's looking to cash out. Now that Murata is off the table I don't think he risks losing another opportunity at Canelo by risking a loss to Charlo.
That said I don't know what legitimate options are there for him that don't have risk.
