For some reason, of all things to question, there's some people on here who actually question Wilder's punching power.
First let me say, LMMFAO!
Secondly, you can question Wilder's character. You can question his technique. You can critique his boxing ability. You can even question his Bambi legs and his opposition thus far......
But! You absolutely cannot question his power.
If there is a scale of 1-10, he'd be an 11!
Rate Wilder's power and discuss.
Let's keep this real and civil if possible. You already know my rating.
Yeah I don't see why people think Wilder's power is that much better than Joshua's. I'm pretty sure Joshua would have knocked out every fighter on Wilder's resume. As far as i'm concerned their power is pretty similar.
There's a pretty clear consensus among fighters that have shared the ring with both Wilder and Joshua. Wilder hits much harder.

A better question is, where did this myth that he has a weak chin come from?
Hes only been knocked down twice, flash knockdowns, and got up and stopped his opponent.he was never really hurt. You can be hurt and not go down, and you can go down and not be really hurt - flash knockdown.
That screams granite chin to me if anything. Anyone can get caught by a flash knockdown, that's what a flash knockdown is.
100% and to use a UK boxer as an example, everyone raves about Carl Froch’s chin but he suffered a flash KD against Groves and nobody questioned his chin. I think both Fury and Wilder have a lot better chins than they get credit for
wasn't the Molina fight the one where Wilder tore his bicep and broke his hand in the early rounds?
Bruh, I'm a big fan of both fighters, but when did Fury get this Oliver McCall type chin? Fury can dodge his punches all night but he isn't no selling a straight right if he gets caught.

Molina put on a solid performance against Wilder, he had his moments where he at one point even hurt Wilder, he also took lots of big clean shots but was able to last nine rounds. He had absolutely no shot againts AJ. Once AJ started to land the fight was all over in three rounds.
Maybe Wilder hits harder but isn't it funny when it comes to common opponents that they pretty much always favor the fighter where they can say "I fought a good fight against this guy".

I just want to see how Wilder reacts when he hits Fury flush and Fury just shakes it off and keeps coming forward, mauling Wilder.

Don't worry you definitely won't have to see that. I guarantee it. Fury's best served to keep moving almost 100% of the time, like with Klitschko. If he even thinks about trying to take Wilders punches, he's already lost. Take that to the bank.
IMO Wilder has ATG level power and quite possibly the hardest right hand in the history of the sport. I seill have to see him convulse a couple more top contenders before he gets that final stamp though.
That was pretty funny......but yeah, he knocked the dude out later regardless.
That gif actually was the stoppage...and it was a bad one. Wilder wildly missing his shots with the ref grabbing him while Washington is walking casually away.
That DramaShow mark and the other guy make me laugh. SPARRING PARTNERS tell the whole story. Wilder is top 10 p4p puncher of all time. Breadman, Naseem Etc all say the same.
You are totally insane, top 10? What’s wrong with you?
wilder is maybe the biggest puncher since lennox lewis. without a doubt he's the biggest puncher since klitschko, and a bigger puncher than anybody else while klitschko was king.
jury is still out on how hward he truly hits, but from where i'm sitting he's looking like one of the very best punchers i have ever seen.
His straight right is the hardest punch at HW, there's no doubt about that at all. His other punches are not in the same league though. Take away his one two and he doesn't have much left and if there's anyone who can do that it's Tyson Fury who took away klitschkos one two.Definitely his right straight is the hardest punch at HW. I'll actually double down on that punch and say it's the best right straight of all time in the HW division.
The power of his right straight is crazy and definitely way up there, but I would argue that there have been others like it. However the thing that sets his right straight apart from all the others is the SPEED. That thing comes flying out with about the same velocity as Mayweather's, but this guy is a fkn HW. It's almost a joke.
