Umm Peters is a bad example, he's fat not athletic. I was obsessed with Sam Peter for a while. Not to be disrespectful but I always wondered who the smallest man who could beat him would be. Because like you say - he was a big lump but not athletic. Someone like Andre Ward would have beaten him for sure

You can't really say that, because you have countless Americans who tried to make it professional in other sports (football, basketball, baseball, etc) who could've had a chance in boxing. Shawn Porter is a rarity, in that he was one of the football kids who committed to boxing basically right after high school. His style is his style, but imagine what things would've been like had he played D2 football as a 5'6 175-180lb running for however long before coming to boxing. Imagine if Dominic Breazeale, after having a high school career that was good enough to draw the attention of a good area junior college and that's about it, had decided to try his hand at boxing at 18 (instead of 23). Brits over achieve at sport. You say "imagine" but theres programmes in place so they don't have to "imagine". Look at out achievements in all sports, we compete everywhere and we're tiny.
