Because they don't fight often.
Most of Haymon's big stars fight twice a year, just like everybody else's big stars.
Top Rank, Matchroom, Golden Boy, Main Events, it's all the same. People only ***** about Haymon because he's got more fighters people actually want to see.
"Can't" is a bit harsh considering he has guys like Wilder, Spence Jr, Leo Santa Cruz, Charlo Brothers, Mikey Garcia, Grevonta Davis just to name a few on the brink of STARDOM.
It will be up to them to get to that Next Level but creating Superstars in Boxing has never been easy but I think Haymon and PBC does a good job of building up MULTIPLE STARS and now they have multiple guys right on the edge of STARDOM with 1 Mega Fight Away
They rely on the Tanks, Broners and Easters too much. Try and sell something that is relatable to low lifes. Then allow Spence to rant for 15 minutes on why he wont fight p4p king Crawford. All these small things matter. I mean, i guarantee every PBC on Showtime card will now show Broner standing and blocking the view of the crowd and giving the middle finger lol. Over and over and over and over........spent to many fox cards on berto, Victor Ortiz, Guerrero etc etc. They have great guys to watch but they inactive as hell. Spence wanted 4 fights and has had two. But if the fighters are happy with it then it is what it is

...like Canelo or Cotto-level star?
What is he doing wrong?
... The only star that's come close to that level since Canelo launched has been Anthony Joshua, and that's with catching lightning in a bottle (winning the super heavyweight Olympic gold medal in his home country).
Beyond that, point to the fighters, wherever they are, who have become bigger stars, post Canelo's launch, than Wilder, Spence or Danny Garcia, to start with the obvious ones.
Because they don't fight often.
It's not even about likability. People watched Mayweather to see him lose. These PBC fighters could apply the same method to become one, whether intentionally or not.
he has produced stars, but im more interested in better fights i love boxing not bragging over who gets more attention, twitter followers, n has more money.
With horrible numbers thanks to Arum not knowing how to promote him
arum did a fine job with mayweather. floyd didn't become a true star until he beat oscar de la hoya. that was the most important factor in turning him into the historic level draw that he was. that's almost always how it works. guys have a built in avenue for being built up, the backs of great fighters. pacquiao's career was almost identical in that regard. he beat oscar and then he became a star.
Any time a haymon fighter scores a signature win they ar einactive for months and then return to fight a nobody.
Take spence, An aggressive powerful fighter with a marquee win over Brook, since then he fought a shot fighter and a nobody.
Stars were built by the likes of King, Arum and HBO involvement with a continual string of high quality opponents. Haymon doesn't have any of that.
He had a guy named Floyd Mayweather that did pretty well for himself. He went from fighting on KO nation in front of 1500 people with Top Rank to selling out arenas in vegas & fighting on PPV[/QUOT. Thats old news now...nobody cares. Boxing has moved on and needs new stars

Floyd was headlining shows and selling PPV's when he was signed to Top Rank.
How many Canelo level stars are there in boxing now? Two? And one of them is Canelo.
There is no star like Canelo in the world of boxing today. So with that said, there is no real cross over star like Floyd or Pac. Like him or not he takes risks and he fights everyone and doesn’t duck anyone. His resume is the best in the world today out of the top 10 pfp fighters imo.
These...................
...like Canelo or Cotto-level star?
He doesn't want to.
He does things the Don King way instead of the Bob Arum way.
The Bob Arum way is to put all of your focus on one or two guys in hopes of convincing the public that one or two guys are megastars to be valued above all others, and therefore, paid for on pay-per-view.
The Don King way is to leverage one megastar (Tyson for King, Mayweather for Haymon) to get all the TV dates, and as many fighters as possible, so that the fighters become largely irrelevant as you accumulate all the world titles. Then all that matters is keeping the titles in house. Instead of your business being dependent on one or two guys, and having to protect them so carefully because your business will collapse if they lose, you have dozens of smaller stars who are interchangeable as long as you control all the world titles.
So it's not that Haymon can't produce a big star, it's that his strategy is to spread the wealth and create dozens of smaller stars instead. There is an art form to creating a big star and it often requires allowing them to suck all of the air out of the room, to the detriment of the other fighters.
Canelo makes 30 million, Haymon instead creates 30 guys who can make 1 million. It's just a different way of doing business.

This.
Nobody else is producing Canelo/Cotto level stars either, its the whole of boxing is declining, not just anything haymond is doing wrong.
Look at someone like lomachenko, who has an excitiing style, KO power, he should be a bigger star. He is in the same weight classes and same promoter that Pacquaio had, so why isnt he as big as Pacquaio was, even at 135?
Look at how Pacquaio got big, he went through Barrera, Morales and JMM. Then after that De la hoya, margo, cotto, mosley, hatton.
There arent even those big of names available for loma if he wanted to. Mikey garcia vs loma is the big fight and garcia isnt as big as Morales/barrera were in their day.
The "mid tier" stars of boxing from 15 years ago are bigger than everyone except canelo from today.
