Even Abel thought GGG lost the 12th round, so that kind of puts the nail in that coffin.
exactly. His own trainer knew he lost that round and so did GGG. Fans are holding on to something that makes them feel better.
Ggg was winning it till the last minute canelo came on out of all the close rounds that’s the one I thought you could give canelo. Ggg had already won at that point on most logical people’s scorecards though.
GGG won that rd. He won the first 2 minutes canelo won the last minute. GGG landed way more jabs and power punches that rd. Started the rd strong with a right hand and uppercut that snapped canelo's head back along with several jabs all that went unnoticed.
Yeah he started and finished the round with nice uppercuts if I remember correctly.

I felt after the first 30 seconds, Canelo landed all that meaningful power punches of the round. GGG kind of let up after his quick start for some reason.
But man how GGG turned it around after the 9th round was awesome to see. I had Canelo up 6-3 and was thinking he was going to pull away but GGG had other plans. Great stuff, one mega fight that definitely lived up to expectations.
I think I had eight rounds where I believe they could have gone either way they were so close, really I don’t see a controversy had GG won 116-112 I think I could somewhat agree but for me I had Canelo 115-114.
This is exactly how I felt last night. 8-4 either way would have been completely understandable and I really don't want to hear people saying **** like "Canelo clearly won" or "Golovkin clearly was robbed."
It was a ****ing war that had both guys landing tons of clean shots, round after round. A draw would have been the most fair outcome but it is what it is.
Great fight, congrats to both guys.
It was Canelo for sure, GGG had a great start, but Canelo bosses him after that.
I had Canelo winning 1,2,3,6,9,12
1,2,3,7,8,11 were swing rounds imho. I thought round 8 was the closest
Scoring the fight was a big headache, after today I'm over it.
This somewhat resembles what I saw I thought Canelo took the first three, round 8 I couldn’t pick a winner. GG took 10,11 Canelo took the last one.

I’m also disappoint the PED cheat one, I’d hoped because of the PED issues GG would destroy him, I enjoyed the fight regardless and laugh now at the emotional investment on display.

As I watched the final seconds of the twelfth round tick down, thinking Canelo won it, I wondered if it might make the difference in a very tight contest. Turns out it did.
There was nothing that Canelo did better than GGG in the 12th.
Both were exhausted and going all in. Using that to rob GGG of three world champion titles was pathetic.
Even abel sanchez thinks GGG lost the 12th round. Give it up man. ITS OVER
It was a Canelo round to me
GGG landed two big punches in the first 20 seconds but not much happened for him after that. Canelo landed more of the better shots for the rest of the round and outworked him.
