Hearn's setup is fighters generally manage themselves. Haymon could try to take on MTK, wouldnt recommend it, lol. Schaefer tried to do his thing with Haye, think thats done now.
Haymon never really started in the UK. When he signed UK fighters, they mainly fought in the states. You had Frampton/Quigg in the UK, but the fight was done by Matchroom and Cyclone Promotions. Haymon or people in his team helped get that fight done, but it wasn't promoted by one of his guys (Dibella/Schaefer/TGB/etc).
I don't think he will be able to get in the UK market. Or not any time soon. He would need to sign some top UK prospects and build them until they are ready to become headliners. No reason to branch out to the UK when he can continue doing what he is doing stateside.
I can see BT Sports and SHO partnering up where they show each other's cards. But even then, ESPN+ would be interested in some of the international cards since they have 24 dates to fill. They paid for a Frank Warren card recently, but I can't recall which one it was.
I see what your saying but didn't haymon try to get a tv deal with sky or ITV at one point with a guy named marc Watson?
My problem with that is boxing in the UK is driven by the amount of people who show up to fights not the tv ratings

Let us be honest...there is nothing of interest in UK boxing other than Anthony Joshua. Everyone else is basically domestic level fighters camouflaging as World level. So nothing of interest at the moment for Al Haymon. He will get in when he sees an opportunity.
No Showtime in the UK? :dunno:
Could careless to be honest because I'm not in the UK but NO I doubt Eddie "Ran Haymon From The UK Market" :lol1:
Haymon seems like a guy that is willing to wait things out to get what he wants. A International TV Deal is inevitable it could be BT Sports who knows but honestly really don't care
When the time is right Haymon will put cards on in the UK.
Khan
Frampton
Selby
DeGale
Probably more.
Those Showtime International Cards are basically PBC cards just not branded PBC.
I don't think television is the way to control the UK market. I think its domininated by Live gates and arenas. Something that would take haymon forever to Learn with all the different arenas and cultures in the UK
Well they aren't with PBC anymore I know that much.
They all are even Khan though Haymon relationship with Hearn is strained and is now doing business with Frank Warren for his UK fighters ie Frampton,Selby,DeGale
They are all still with haymon that's correct however when pbc first got started they tried to get tv dates in UK now they don't have any and he stop trying to get UK fighters. I don't think he wants to expand into the UK anymore because they are based on TV money its more about Live gate money aka not pbc

You are actually incorrect they all remain with Al Haymon especially Selby and Frampton since their past 2 fights were picked up by Showtime

Well, Khan, Frampton and Selby all left Haymon, if that's what you're getting at.
