Gallo Estrada blames Canelo for positive testing. He says when you test positive it's because you inject yourself with Clenbuterol.
I asked @GalloEstradaOfi why he’s never tested positive for clenbuterol after he told me Mexican beef “is all I eat” while training in Sonora: “I eat it. I don’t inject it.”
I'm pretty sure Estrada had Canelo losing to Cotto also.
I’ll have to rewatch that one, been years. But I’m pretty sure that was an obvious Canelo win that wasn’t even close.
Now that I think about it, I think I might have had Khan ahead on the cards prior to the KO also.
I remember when all of these weirdos used to take Victor Conte's word as the word of God. Then he backed Canelo and I haven't seen a thread about Victor Conte since.
I guess now Juan Francisco Estrada's word is the word of God.
I like both Canelo and Estrada but it's well documented that Estrada has no love for Canelo. Estrada had Canelo losing pretty much every close fight be's been in and trashes him any chance he gets. Estrada is the best fighter in Mexico and probably feels overshadowed by Canelo.
What close matches are those? Golovkin? Trout? Lara? A lot of people had him losing those matches.
Anyways there is no proof that he used any "enhancement" during the fights
Did he or did he not fail a blood test? Is what they found in his system banned? Is it not banned for a reason? Don't try to frame this into a enhancement or not argument, an argument can be made for both it being an enhancer and it not being an enhancer.
Here is how it is classified just to end the argument and not have you continue that narrrative and get back to the point..
Is clenbuterol a performance enhancer?
Performance and Image Enhancing Drugs - Clenbuterol. Clenbuterol is classed as a 'beta-2 agonist' and its short-term effects are similar to stimulant drugs like amphetamine or ephedrine (i.e. increases heart rate, temperature, perspiration and blood pressure).
Jokes on you, she left me for the babysitter
Is it true Mexican are the Chinese of America if it comes to snake size? We count Snakenelo because he’s 94% Irish.
Redeem what? This isn't checkers man..this is the most brutal sport there is. You do realize that one punch can literally alter a fighters life right? There is zero room for testing positive for anything. The way his situation was handled sent the wrong message to up and coming fighters. I will say it one last time..if you test dirty you shouldn't be able to make another dime off the sport. There is a real life and death factor in a ring, there is zero room for "bullsht excuses." Him and the other boxers I mentioned previously should have never been allowed to fight again. Harsh? Yeah, but the potential toll on their opponents can't be reversed.

So the man doesn't have a chance to redeem himself? he should be banned for life?

THIS IS A PRIME EXAMPLE OF WHAT'S WRONG WITH "FIGHT FANS" TODAY. It is never ok, it should never be ok, you shouldn't ever pardon a fighter who takes/test positive for any substance that's banned. The sport is brutal as is by nature without the extras. :fu2: with your Canelo avatar trying to say this is ok, I guarantee you if his opponent put him in a coma because of some substance you wouldn't be saying "it's irrelevant" and yes he should be reminded of the fact he tested positive the rest of his professional career. Same for Povetkin, Ortiz, Chavez Jr, and the rest of em.

hmmm
As K-9 Kim once said, "If you want to be fair, you've got to test the hair." @steveucnlive Howyalikeit?— Victor Conte (@VictorConte) April 27, 2018
Yes Gabe this Canelo hair testing result is a game-changer for boxing https://t.co/z7m6o0G4il— Victor Conte (@VictorConte) April 27, 2018
Canelo testing negative 4 clenbuterol in hair is very important. Seems WADA will soon establish an allowable limit for trace amounts of clenbuterol in urine & hair. No doubt. Canelo having no clenbuterol detected in a hair sample should mitigate his consequences. Game changer.— Victor Conte (@VictorConte) April 27, 2018
Hair is a scientifically valid sample type 4 clenbuterol testing in the Canelo case. Yes there are variations w/ hair color. However they measure at picogram concentrations. A picogram is equal to one trillionth of a gram. This is ultra trace analysis by a WADA accredited lab.— Victor Conte (@VictorConte) April 27, 2018
CANELO: The WADA accedited lab knows about color variations & that head & pubic hair have different growth rates. It is significant that they did not detect clenbuterol in the hair of Canelo. This is IMPORTANT EVIDENCE in favor of Canelo's defense.— Victor Conte (@VictorConte) April 27, 2018
Canelo's hair sample shows he didn't inject it.
So what? He already paid his suspension, if it was the meat or injected is irrelevant now

I'm a ggg fan and a Canelo fan! Might sound crazy to some of you fanboys but as a fan of boxing I really liked watching both fighters, they're both elite.
This whole clen situation has really screwed Canelo though as I don't believe it was from Mexican meat. Well he's screwed himself basically.
He needs to redeem himself by voluntarily testing before every fight for the rest of his career, and he needs a good performance against ggg or he will forever be tainted as a cheat.
Lol Clen is still used today by MANY. The man eats mexican meat when he can afford the best meat. You tell me why again he wouldnt take clen?
BTW Clean is used after a cycle of something like NPP to cut the fat and water and retain muscle.
Yes Ive used.
never said it wasnt used. What i said is its not something a high level athlete uses.
Shit! Canelo, that S.O.B. Was juiced to the hilt when he faced GGG the first time. He would've had to have eaten an entire bull to test positive for clenbuterol.
