The main point that everyone keeps missing in this so called negotiation. Wilder is advised by some of the smartest men in boxing that have made some of the biggest fights in history. There is no way Haymon and Finkel advised Wilder to take either of Hearn's ****ty offers for a fight of this magnitude. But Wilder made it clear I will shallow a lot crap to make it happen and Haymon and Finkle said ok we will get it done.
Look to the other side and its different. Hearn is just doing what he supposed to do to protect his investment. He is a slimy boxing promoter looking to make as much money as possible as quickly as he can before AJ gets beat. I don't fault him for doing what promoters do. This is all on Anthony Joshua. If he truly believed he could beat Wilder he would be begging to get the fight done. I used to be a fan but he has already admitted out of his own mouth the he fears losing a fight and all that comes with that.
So blame fast Eddie all you want but this is all on AJ
I don't know a single person in the industry that believes Hearn wants the fight more than Wilder does. So I form my common sense based on the people I deal with who are knowledgeable and experienced. If you're talking about "common sense" on this particular message board, this particular message board is largely UK fans who believe ever single word Hearn says.
Hearn and Finkel have two different accounts of when the contract was sent. Hearn has been caught in more lies, causing me to be more likely to believe Finkel. Hearn benefits more from the Wilder fight not being next, causing me to be more likely to believe Finkel. You guys believe Hearn because he's the promoter of the fighter you love. Who is more likely to be telling the truth doesn't enter into the equation for you.
And it turns out Hearn was lying and didn't actually intend for Wilder to be next. Hearn is already saying the offer still stands . . . FOR APRIL. The WBA hasn't ordered a purse bid. Nothing is stopping Hearn from accepting the Wilder fight next. His actions show he doesn't want it next.
I'm not touching the first two because it's the same merry go round with you as before. As far as the venue and date being arranged thing goes Finkel hasn't come out to deny he said ok to Hearn so we can wait and see on that one.
As of yet your "sources" and just your opinion that Finkel wants the fight more doesn't constitute as evidence to me.
As for your last statement .. they don't need to order a purse bid. A deal had already been established throughout wilder negotiations for a UK fight. Which is why I crease myself that so many of you wilder fans wanted Hearn to lose the purse bid and have to fight in Russia or be stripped.
I will say however ..I think the deal that's been left open on the table for wilder Is a very good offer
you dont get to call your beliefs common sense.. when there is such a large divide between opposing parties that doesnt form the basis of common sense.

he has stated that before finkel even stated he had comments to ESPN, that he had asked and been assured by Hearn that whilst a date and venue was being planned and not in concrete but that wilder was next. Finkel was fine with this.

You probably also believe the moon landings were faked.

Hearn turned his fighter into a superstar, a 3 belt unified champion selling out 90k arenas and making 20M a fight while Wilder holds one belt, has only fought 1 opponent with a pulse is virtually unknown in his own country and cant even sell out his backyard.
Wilder even lost the pursebid to Povetkins team and couldnt even afford to pay Parker for a unification.
Seems like you live in an alternate reality.
Wilders team knew that the WBA wouldnt wait much longer, they have the contract and it takes them 10 days to comment? If they want that fight they sign it immediately, get on the phone, arrange a meeting and get it done.
Both of these parties dont want the fight next because its much bigger next year, but they both want to blame the other party and you people fall for the nonsense.
In 6 month when the fight is signed nobody will care about what happened now and the fight will generate way more money than it would now.

So blame fast Eddie all you want but this is all on AJI don't blame Hearn or AJ. I blame Wilder for refusing to sign a contract to fight without saying why he refused to sign it. Until I read what was in the contract that was so bad Wilder could not sign it I am not blaming team AJ because they made an offer to Wilder to fight. If there was something in that contract that was unfair then Wilder needs to tell the world what is was in plain English if he can. Just giving team AJ a good cussing out and saying what cowards they are explains nothing. Wilder had a contract in front of him and if he signs it the fight is on. He refused to sign it but gives no specific reason why he won't sign it. Was the pay too low? Then say so and say how much you were supposed to get paid. Whatever the reason for not signing explain it. Nobody can read Wilder's mind. Until I hear a reason Wilder refused to sign I blame Wilder.
I watch every single Hearn interview. Have for years. He's one of the best in the world at his job and I've learned a ton from him.
But if he's lying about what day he sent the contract, and Finkel is telling the truth about getting it after the weekend and not before, that would mean the supposed "delay" Hearn is blaming on Finkel is actually Hearn's fault, not Finkel's.
If you choose to believe Hearn, so be it. I find Finkel's story more believable because it's more logical. Finkel benefits the most from this fight happening ASAP. Hearn benefits the least from this fight happening ASAP. So it's more likely that Hearn would be stalling than Finkel would be. Common sense.

He then stated he had comments, of which a date and venue, which he ALREADY KNEW WAS IN PLANNING was one.. that a wilder rematch is the other is undisclosed. He stated he had comments on a monday... that he would send the contract back UNSIGNED.. with those comments on FRIDAY
Why wait 5 days to send back an unsigned contract with comments you knew you had 5 days earlier?
**** man, these fanboys must be getting paid for all this damage control. How fast they stormed in and started to pollute this thread is just incredible

I didn't miss this point. Actually, my last comment was about it
Now youre going to go on and on about hearn being a liar and a manipulator etc etc.. without even watching his interview for yourself.

brits are in denial....its sad...they are shameless
Don't worry, you've got Wilder fighting another bum to look forward to. It will be great watching his usual struggle. Haha.
You're being ridiculous. Whether the fight is next or not is obviously going to impact whether Wilder is going to accept the deal or not. You're asking him to take a low ball flat fee, and go to the UK, and not even know when the fight is going to be, and sign before even knowing if the fight is going to be next or after an interim fight. When you start to ask that much, it's pretty clear you just don't want the fight.
Is that why Hearn stated today that after he sent the contracts he messaged finkel again stating he was working on date and venue?
Finkel.. according to hearn, replied with OK, but can you guarantee we are Joshuas next fight, to which hearn stated categorically they were.
This was before finkel then stated he had comments about that very issue, and would take 5 days to put those to hearn.
Now youre going to go on and on about hearn being a liar and a manipulator etc etc.. without even watching his interview for yourself.. But we all know finkel calls bull**** with proof when hes the victim of it. So if this isnt true then i expect finkel to come and say something to that effect. If he doesnt.. you can ****in eat some crow.
The A side doesnt beg. The B side should also stop talking about how it isnt about the money yet declined the first offer over money...
I like Wilder but it’s starting to get ridiculous. Aj didnt get wilder so he goes with the next biggest threat that he hasn’t yet fought.
Wilder can keep on can crushing (Except Ortiz) but AJ is not i ly the A side but hes also taking the best fights from Wilder.
Wilder is looking like a child and AJ not giving him the time of day went from annoying from a fan standpoint to now being kind of funny seeing this mini melt down.
Aj gonna go make 20+ mil in a filled stadium vs a legit fighter...what’s Wilder doing?
This is what happens when you dont have leverage.
Wilder should have conceded and won the fight first and then pull his stunts. Lets be real, if AJ stops Wilder no one (public perception) will care about a rematch. It’s only if Wilder wins that the world will take notice.
Wilder needs to play his role and stop coming off as just some guy calling out AJ, because that’s how a lot of people know him as right now.
I love Wilder but its always weird to see guys behave this way with no leverage.
It doesnt have to be next as long as its put in play .

Donkey Wilder is advised by the smartest man in boxing to buy a pen next time!
To sign an open ended contract that doesn't state if the fight would be next or not?
Yeah.
AJ really f*cked up by signing that contract to fight.
How do you know he signed?
Even if he did sign, if it's a version of the contract Wilder hadn't approved, who cares? AJ could sign a contract that says Wilder must sacrifice all of his children. If Wilder didn't agree, what's the difference if AJ signed?
