So I form my common sense based on the people I deal with who are knowledgeable and experienced. If you're talking about "common sense" on this particular message board, this particular message board is largely UK fans who believe ever single word Hearn says. Hearn and Finkel have two different accounts of when the contract was sent. Hearn has been caught in more lies, causing me to be more likely to believe Finkel. Hearn benefits more from the Wilder fight not being next, causing me to be more likely to believe Finkel. You guys believe Hearn because he's the promoter of the fighter you love. Who is more likely to be telling the truth doesn't enter into the equation for you. And it turns out Hearn was lying and didn't actually intend for Wilder to be next. Hearn is already saying the offer still stands . . . FOR APRIL. The WBA hasn't ordered a purse bid. Nothing is stopping Hearn from accepting the Wilder fight next. Until I read what was in the contract that was so bad Wilder could not sign it I am not blaming team AJ because they made an offer to Wilder to fight. If there was something in that contract that was unfair then Wilder needs to tell the world what is was in plain English if he can. You're being ridiculous. Whether the fight is next or not is obviously going to impact whether Wilder is going to accept the deal or not. You're asking him to take a low ball flat fee, and go to the UK, and not even know when the fight is going to be, and sign before even knowing if the fight is going to be next or after an interim fight. When you start to ask that much, it's pretty clear you just don't want the fight. Is that why Hearn stated today that after he sent the contracts he messaged finkel again stating he was working on date and venue? Finkel.. according to hearn, replied with OK, but can you guarantee we are Joshuas next fight, to which hearn stated categorically they were. This was before finkel then stated he had comments about that very issue, and would take 5 days to put those to hearn.
