Dimitry Bivol might face Isaac Chilemba in August

Would I prefer to see Bivol in with another top contender like Gvozdyk or Beterbiev or Browne? Sure. But in a much more likely 'best of the rest' scenario Chilemba's right up there - better than Fonfara, Smith, Murat or La Bomba for my money. I agree with what you say, but I do believe Chilemba is past prime. He's also found his place as a Light Heavyweight gatekeeper. He seemed to fight with more ambition four or five years ago. I want to see Bivol fight the best.

Why would you say he's past prime? Isaac's a very solid, capable fighter who's a handful for anyone and at 31 has a wealth of experience at the top level. That he lost a few over the last 2 - 3 years speaks more to the quality of his opposition than any slippage IMO. Dude could easily have been given the nod over both Eleidar and Bellew on neutral ground too, gave Kovalev a tough night... Already know the result Sh1t fight but marcus browne is probably gonna fight kovaleb so theres no-one else out there Lhw is a top heavy division but the top is really strong

Terrific fight and will be similar to Barrera. I am sure we will have plenty of comparrisons of Kovalev vs Chilemba vs Bivol vs Chilemba. As someone else mentioned, none of the other top light heavyweights are available or want to fight Bivol.

Bivol looked so spectacular against Barrera that the standard has been raised significantly. People will be expecting him to fight top opponents.
