Obviously loma has the better 12 fight resume
But one guy was a talented kid turning pro, the other was a talented grown man turning pro
Plus bob arum never could market Floyd properly
Well as much as I clown you, this is correct and you deserve credit for this. Wish you made sensible posts like this all the time and not just sporadically and when you are responding to the stock market thread.
Lomachenko just turned 30 so Floyd in comparison fought DLH shortly after turning 30, but Lomachenko got a later start as a pro, obviously. That way you can start to compare them. This is why I like Pacquiao Lomachenko is to pass the torch to the next generation but even at Floyd's age now nobody thinks Lomachenko could beat Floyd today, whereas vs Manny he has better odds. (Pacquiao for comparison turned 30 in between the DLH and Hatton bouts)
Loma is a 30 year old man.... Floyd was 18 - 20 or something. How is this relevant?
Loma has been impressive since turning pro, there's no denying that. But all of this '3 divisions in 12 fights' is just nonsense. The time that it takes to be an 'X' divisional champion or to beat 'X' amount of champions, doesn't mean anything.
Floyd was actually younger than Loma when he became a 3 division champion and continued to have a stellar career all the way until he was a 40 year old man.
Loma is a 3 division champ... that's great... but doing it in 12 fights is irrelevant.... it doesn't make it any bigger or smaller than it is.... a 3 division champ is a 3 division champ, nothing more, nothing less.
Let's just do their first 2 fights...
Floyd 2 - 0
Lomanchenko 1 - 1
Against Roberto Apodaca debut
Reggie Sanders 1-1-0
for Floyd
Against Jose Ramirez 25-3
Siri Salido 41-12 4 times world champ
for Loma
Don't be a dck for once.

Yeah, that's why Loma will never rule 4/5 divisions like Floyd.
He turned pro as a grown dude.
If Loma turned pro at 20 years old, he would have fought bums too but could have started at 118/122.
How bout we do their first 150 fights (amateur + pro)?
Those guys are stupid, let Loma built his legacy and Floyd enjoy his retirement.
They have different type of careers...
Honestly almost impossible to compare a career like Lomas, atleast the start of it, because nothing like it has ever happened in boxing. Maybe a better comparison would be comparing their careers starting from their first title fight and everything after.

The guys Loma fought were all shot, inactive, small and crippled old losers, didn't you hear?
I heard three were declared legally dead. One declared blind.
Thing is that Loma had an extensive amateur career (I don't think that it was over 400 fights though), and that he requested to fight the level of competition that he did in his first few fights. Arum was reluctant to do it at first but then granted it.
He's also been given opportunities that Floyd didn't get though
This is the way I see it. Floyd was the more defensive/athletic fighter while Loma is the better offensive/faster fighter. Loma has elite level defense but Floyd was slightly better. Floyd was a phenomenal offensive juggernaught below 147 but Loma is better at creating angles, throwing shots in bunches, and he has a slightly better jab. If this fight was to happen at 130 or 135, it would be a 50/50 fight. I could see Loma beating Floyd 5/10 and I could see Floyd beating Loma 5/10.
