AJ fought for his first world title in his 16th professional fight, aged just 26.
Wilder fought for his first world title in his 33rd professional fight, aged 30. Had entered the world Ring rankings for heavyweight in 2013, failed to capitalise on fights with either Klitschko.
AJ has had 6 championship fights, one against Wlad Klitschko an all time great, one against Carlos Takam and a unification. AJ is 28 years old.
Wilder has had 8 championship fights, no unifications and only one defence against someone ranked in The Ring top 10. Wilder is 32 years old.
Champions during AJ's reign have been Joseph Parker, Lucas Browne, Ruslan Chageav and Deontay Wilder, AJ has already fought and beaten Parker.
Champions during Wilder's reign have been Wladimir Klitschko, Lucas Browne, Ruslan Chageav, Joseph Parker and Tyson Fury. He has not faced any of them.
End.
He can. It could make for a bad fight visually (like the Parker fight) but it's still a win for Joshua.
I just see that Wilder will leave himself open too much and get caught with a big shot to be hurt
I said the same thing some posts ago, this could end up being a very ugly and boring fight, much like Parker. People expecting firework may just see AJ control the distance and the diameters of the fight.
AJ seems to be a bit gun shy these days so I think the stoppage is no longer the primary way of winning for him. A year ago I w ould have said AJ stops Wilder, not so sure now BUT he has so many more tools than the American, he can easily outpoint him.

Exactly.
That's why I see little chance that Wilder wins this. It will be a little longer than the Martin fight, but it will end with Wilder getting knocked out.

Wilder doesn't throw enough punches to make Joshua tired . People are severely underating Joshuas chin and ability to still defend if hurt with counter punching abilities . Wilder has only been jumped on once when stunned and the bell saved him .
It is Wilders fight to worry about a lot more . Hes getting far to much credit for what Joshua is actually doing and thats never being behind in fights and withstanding more overall harder punchers than Wilder has fought . Somehow Wilders more competitive fights have somehow diminished Joshua better skilled one sided ones ? lol
People keep claiming all these Joshua flaws yet he does everything better when he puts it all together , his jab alone which he PROVED is better than Parkers will itself be a major factor bc Wilder doesnt react well to them which is why he lost 4 rnds to Washington who was in reality ranked around 25th before the WBC put him in top 10 .
Its a no brainer whos going to win unless Joshua gets careless .
Exactly.

Make the fight now? Even before negotiations can have a full week of completion we has Wilder saying he might fight moobzeale, wtf? Tell your man to stop putting up road blocks.
what roadblocks?? he said he would come to the UK and take less money
Here is the bottom line if AJ and Wilder fight. If Wilder doesnt land something big and stop AJ he will get his stool pushed in. Its as simple as that, he cant out box AJ. He is the living breathing embodiment of a punchers chance. He has a fast, scary powerful right and a pretty good jab to set it up. There are some other wrinkles to his game but that just about covers it. The issue is all he really has to do is clip you and you are probably done. AJ isnt some technical master either but he is sound enough if he wants to play it super safe he can out box Wilder to a really boring UD and I think that will be the plan if they fight.
Indeed. I also think preparation for Wilder on exactly the lines you set out above was apparent in AJ's approach to the Parker fight.
I am simply saying lets make the fight now man...Time to stop the excuses...and Fury should net even be in the running

When was the fight supposed to have happened Larry? Your total dodge of a simple question is an example of what i'm trying to say.
Joshua-Wilder for all the belts is the only super fight to make, other than Joshua-Fury but that isn't happening yet.

I really dont get what you are trying to say here?? it is more like UK posters are trying to hype up mediocre fighters as great and dont want them to prove it because ya'll never really have anyone great..Americans dont have to wish on greatness they are always here

How can you say they are avoiding Wilder when there's literally been 3 days of actual time for when proper negotiations to happen
Joshua has only just acquired the WBO belt, and Wilder has only just managed to get a name on his resume.
When was this fight supposed to happen exactly?
It's like the all-stars of US garbage posters have a fighter to rally behind. Sad really

So this all has what to do with Hearn and Joshua avoiding Wilder??

I wish I had a gif of Ortiz throwing shots at Wilder and his defence was jumping backwards like a frog lol
That's all he does, not gonna work against somebody fast enough to jump in and finish the job.
I think Joshua defense will be a factor in that fight, it's getting better every fight while Wilder lacks any defense whatsoever. Wilder not doing himself a favours fighting fighters who can't push him either.

I have my own demons I have to deal with, know what you're talking about all too much. Taking it one day at a time.
being a pedophile isn't a "demon", its a crime, i hope someone calls the police on you

Then I'm cheering for him just for that. I just hit my 11 months of sobriety on Sunday, and it's a harder fight than anything I've done in the ring. Alcoholism is insane, and it's crazy how socially acceptable it seems to be these days.

Just signed back. Dude had lots of personal issues with gambling and alcohol. Kid could've been really something special. Hope he can bounce back.
