My cousin was watching Duran hit a heavy bag one time when the bell rang to rest Duran walked up to him and said Que mires Puto. Meaning what are you looking at F@ggot
:burnout: that sounds right , i remember reading about some young dude wanting to spar with duran just for the honour of sparing duran but turns out duran was in a bad mood that day and beat the crap out of this poor kid.
really? are you from Venezuela or something
yeah, he was equally mean in sparring
I saw a documentary about him and people were saying it was hard to find sparring partners for him, many wouldn't return after sparring him once due to the beatings they took
Valero himself said that DLH hired him as sparring partner for the Pac match, but dismissed him after a few days because Valero was too rough on him, and DLH was a welter lol
Pac's not a sadist at all, remember the Margarito fight, how Pac was going easy on Margo in the last rounds and looking at the ref, concerned for Margo's health after breaking his eye socket and beating the crap outta him for the entirety of the fight
Nah . He was training for a fight at a gym in So. Cal while I was there .
Without naming names . His sparring partners we're getting that Work !
Funny . But a guy who sparred Valero a couple times and wasn't intimidated by him was Lil' Vic Darchynian . Vic was one Tough SOB !
In a past thread I had also mentioned that Valero was being moved towards a fight with Pac . IMO 50/50 fight if it woulda happened .

The most dangerous men are also the most gentle.
I was able to watch him spar a few times while he was training . The guy was as vicious in sparring .

Mike Tyson comes to mind. Definitely kovalev and Crawford now.
Manny has to be the least sadistic fighter, at least now. He has the power to hurt opponents and doesn't.
A prime Roy Jones jr also had that power but didn't fight "mean"... he was so much better than his opposition he would sometimes be concerned for his opponents health.Pac's not a sadist at all, remember the Margarito fight, how Pac was going easy on Margo in the last rounds and looking at the ref, concerned for Margo's health after breaking his eye socket and beating the crap outta him for the entirety of the fight

Murat gassiev
Nah, if you watch him after the first dorticos KD, he seemed genuinely upset and annoyed. like he knew dorticos had taken too much punishment and just wanted him to give up:
This era, Kovalev. It's what made Ward emasculating him a joy to watch. The notorious thug shrunk into the ropes, affraid to take further punishment.
by emasculating you are talking about the low blows, right? because it seemed that that was what he was trying to do, knock his balls off
You beat me to it . Edwin Valero was a beast in and outside the ring . Tragic how he ended his ( and his wife's ) life .
I remember Valero saying he always tried to drive his opponent's nose into their brain. That's exactly how he threw his punches.
Valero must be the most vicious fighter I've seen
you could feel the rage in every one of his punches
he'd try to behead you, nonstop, from the opening bell
even if you nailed him with something big, he'd just get angrier and come back at you
you could see he'd rather die in the ring than losing
a real beast

Iron Mike. The dude flat out said “ My main objective in the fight is to be a professional but to kill him." before the fight with Lennox Lewis.
It didn’t work out for him but he definitely used to go all out trying to decapitate mother****ers before he went to ****. He also bit a chunk of a dude’s ear off so there’s that too.
Mayorga was pretty sadistic. Vernon Forrest was so shook.
