What is worse: Gennady Golovkin's performance against Canelo Alvarez or Sergey Kovalev's performance against Ward?
It's obviously shameful, disgraceful, humiliating, embarrassing and pathetic that the so called 'two best knockout artists' in Gennady Golovkin and Sergey Kovalev couldn't even come close to knocking out their skilled opponents who are MUCH lighter and smaller in size, who were moving up to a higher weight division to compete against them with significant size disadvantages.
But which one is worse? Canelo Alvarez making Gennady Golovkin's 'knock-out' punches appear like they contain the power of a little 10 year old sissy girl that can barely even crack an egg? I.E. Proving how pathetically feather-fisted, weak and powerless Gennady Golovkin is.
Or Andre Ward making Sergey Kovalev's 'knock-out' punches appear as if they contained the power of a drunk alcoholic Russian granddad in his 80's who can barely stand straight to throw a punch without breaking his fragile hands and body? I.E. Proving how pathetically feather-fisted, weak and powerless Sergey Kovalev truly is.
ward was all wrong for him.
It took Ward a good 8-9 rounds to figure it out (he lost the 1st fight) IMO. There are fighters that could adapt themselves to be all wrong for Kovalev - not just Ward, but Ward gets the credit to be the 1st who figured it out, although even Chilemba showed us something...
i dont see anyone there now to bother him. but ward is getting antsy
Won't comment on new generation till they prove themselves properly (Bivol and the rest), but I would actually put some nice money on Badou Jack if they announced the fight today.
That stamina and willingness are all wrong for Kovalev.
to not give ward credit is like not giving the defense credit for shutting a qb down.
''man, that qb cant complete a pass tonight. hes horrible.''
Sure, Ward is a HOF fighter, no doubt. Most wouldn't survive the 1st fight. I am just saying that Kovalev will be beaten again in the same way Ward beat him (partly because Ward exposed him/his stamina).
Kovalev was beating or at least was equal to Ward when his stamina was 100%.
But...
He is good only for 6-7 rounds. Major major flaw - he will be beaten again, no doubt (unless the new trainer did some magic, which I doubt).
Nevertheless, Kovalev beat Ward in the 1st fight pretty comfortably (regardless what judges said), but he lost badly in the 2nd.
So I would say Gennady against Canelo (which wasn't that good for Gennady's standard) was just slightly better than Kovalev against Ward (1st fight).
Kovalev vs Ward II - Ward took his soul.
feather fist? how about canelo's chin is legit. but ggg performed worse to me because prior to the fight he had a rep for cutting off the ring and canelo was clowned as "cement feet".. yet in the fight ggg was just chasing him around, unable to trap him and canelo showed another layer being elusive with footwork. kovalev to me is a better all around boxer than ggg. so if anything was "exposed" it was ggg's ring generalship not being as good as advertised.
I would say GGG cause he was thrown out of his comfort zone ( no body shots and couldn't land on the ropes ) He only through the jab and the right hand to the head !! Very dissatisfied , Canelo was supposed to get murdered

You need to go back to the dictionary and get some more. If GGG hits like a 10 year old sissy girl why did Canelo retreat so much of the fight? Why didn't he just walk through those weak punches and knock GGG out? If Kovalev is so pathetically feather-fisted, weak and powerless why was Ward knocked on his ass for a 6 count by one Kovalev drunk alcoholic 85 year old granddad type right hand???????
Wat?
Triple G was favorite in the fight...he got exposed.
Ward was favorite in both Kovy fights. I gave Kovy first bout (narrowly) and Ward stopped him 2nd bout. Neither man "exposed" for me - both proved elite caliber from what I watchedIf you can't spell a common 4 letter word like what you need to go back and finish the first grade and buy a dictionary.
What's worse? This idiotic GGG hate thread or one of the other 30 or more GGG hate threads you have started in the last couple of weeks? You rig a poll where both of your hated champions look bad. How clever of you, No Brain Power.Exactly! The guy in his obsessive/compulsive hate threads lets GGG, Lomachenko, Beterbiev, Bivol, and Kovalev stay rent free in his head every day and also invites them in as bugs up his a$$ 24/7.
But, he still showed himself to be a really solid fighter with better ring IQ and stamina than most expected him to have.
A lot of haters you mean? anyone else knew he was for real.
You said he beat Canelo, now you want to take it back badly. Fool.

Ok i respect that. I had Kov winning the first fight aswell. Had Borat-Red Balls a draw
It's no different from the dogshit you vomit about sucking MarGGGarita's clitWhat the fuc are you talking about, ass hole? I have never started any threads about Margarito or any other boxer so don't compare me with a professional GGG hater. Margarito is nothing special to me. If you in your own retarded way are trying to say GGG is like Margarito then you are just as stupid and hate filled as No Brain Power. GGG is an excellent champion and anybody who says he isn't is a boxing moron. I am proud to stick up for him when he is being attacked by pea brained idiots.
I would love for you to take just one punch from GGG and then if you are still alive take one punch from Kovalev. Then as you are spitting out all your teeth you can tell everyone how they punch like 10 year old girls.

Bro if you think ggg performance was that bad were does that leave canelo? considering fact the fight was scored a draw and infact many believed nelo lost to the feather fisted slow Ggg.
Gokovkin beat Canelo, and Kov beat up Ward in their first fight and got robbed by corrupt American judges, and didn't get any protection from American ref in second one.
An obvious troll post

Kovalev definitely performed worse overall.
The best performance recently was your mom deep throating me without taking a breath.
