Hate Him or Love Him! Broner is today's Biggest American Boxing Draw!

I moved to Cincy about a year and a half ago. Everybody around here says Broner was one of the best talents they've seen in a long time. Said he used to whoop Shawn Porter. A trainer told me a story about Broner going to Taylor's gym in Arkansas and whooping everybody in the gym. After he beat the first guy they told him to get out the ring. He told them to get somebody to get him out the ring then proceeded to whoop everybody who got in the ring with him. Arkansas has many bums. And that sounds like a ghost story.

Hahaha nice joke. Cant believe people still buy this "unfocused" Broner ****. He is just too limited of a fighter for the elite level. Period. I'll grant you that the guys who flamed out early or ate themselves into oblivion always have the most apologists saying they would've been Ray Robinson if not for the fatal flaw(s). But Broner's constant legal troubles, lack of training consistency, lack of discipline, insane party habits and all definitely limited the success of what could have been a much bigger talent.

How embarrassing for US boxing. America has some excellent champions and prospects and this clown is the biggest draw. It's time Americans got behind their best fighters and forget this joke.

Broner is very successfull probably the only boxer right now that transcend the sports, I seem him pop out on rap channels on youtube and dude gets huge views their too more then he does on his boxing videos on youtube sometimes, so yeah he is very popular just sucks that he has peaked, he thrived when it was subpar b level fighters he looked like a beast but when they were a level he always had trouble and now at this weight these a level fighters have a punch that he is forced to respect. I agree with you that Broner turned out to be a relative waste of natural talent due to his lack of discipline and I think he's probably done too much damage to get it back in any big way. We'll probably never know what his real ceiling might have been. It's a shame. That said, I think his appeal or viewers is largely due to his out of the ring antics that so frequently appeared on TMZ. I mean, views are views, sales are sales. If he gets them, he deserves to get paid. Because of the kind of freak show appeal, I think he will likely vanish from the top 10 earners within a year or two.

Thurman is actually the biggest American draw. He's #1 in ticket sales and ratings. Broner is right behind him Interesting. Where are you from? I'm from Akron originally, but have a great deal of friends from all over Ohio, Cincy included. I'm mostly in Maine, NH, or Dayton these days. Broner is a rare talent. But has blown his money.

the more ppl say they cant stand him the more they watch him. it don't matter how many L's he got people are drawn to him. whether they wanna see him lose doesn't mean sht cuz just by tuning in you're putting money in his pocket. I think with a change of trainers he'll actually improve though. stafford needed to be fired ages ago. now AB needs to get wit somebody whos gonna get the best outta him. derrick james will fit right with him.

Broner isn't a well known name in america. Boxing fans know him, but there aren't enough boxing fans in america. Broner doesn't have much money at all. I know people that know him, and despite the image he portrays, he struggles to get along.

His stock has dropped since he became a PBC fighter. Broner himself said he'd rather be on Showtime so he can be himself clowning his opponents.

i dont understand how broner pulls in all these people!!!! i think most of them tune in hoping he gets kod and a small % of the viewers are actually rooting for him.

Adrian Broker is the Canelo & Anthony Joshua of America/USA boxing. He does the highest view numbers on showtime/hbo. He earned the most money in the past 2 years. He is more popular than Spence & Crawford combined. Facts! This is true. But just imagine if he was disciplined.
