And here's why: Whyte is 29 and just entering his prime, he has power, is athletic, and fears nothing. He is way bigger stronger and faster than Szpilka was.
Whyte has the perfect style to catch Wilder's shaky chin just like Molina did and knock beontay skinny ass out.

Wilder is only about 2 years older. Wilder is bigger, faster has more power and is more athletic than Whyte. Wilder also fears nothing. You hand pick two of Wilder's poorer performances and assume he will fight no better than that against Whyte. Whyte has been KOed by AJ and had to settle for a split decision against Chisora. There is no logical reason to think he would beat Wilder. Do you live in the UK.?
Exactly! Fans today seem to think that getting knocked down makes you weak. One of my favorite heavyweights (Larry Holmes) got knocked down a lot, but he had so much heart that he would get up from what looked like a DEATH BLOW (Holmes/Shavers II is a great example)
fans back then would look at that and applaud Holmes chin and heart for getting up after that blow. Fans today would be like "Holmes is a paper champ with a weak chin"
I'd love to see todays fans watch Clay/Ali vs Cooper 1. They'd probably say Cassius Clay was just a fringe fighter with a weak jaw.
That being said, I think Joshua has been knocked down more than once, but my argument stands, it doesn't matter if he is standing at 8. (unless you're Gerry Cooney, then you're done lmao)
Man, the right hand Shavers landed on Holmes was a one shot KO against almost anyone else. Holms is one the most underated HW champions in the history of the division. He had the right heart to go with the skill for sure.
I think they have both been down once a piece but I agree mostly. Getting knocked down is not a big deal if you get up and win win unless you get knocked down regularly. I mean getting dropped by Wlad is nothing to be ashamed off honestly, he has show stopping power against anyone.

I'm curious how Wilder apparently has a shaky chin now...occasionally Boxers get hurt. It happens. Find me one that hasn't.
That said, Joshua has hit the canvas more, but nobody says a damn thing about his chin.

Also, Are we talking Dillan Whyte here? what is he even ranked right now? 8th? So when Wilder KO's him you can be like everyone else and say "wilder doesn't fight top competition"
